Enjoy hiking and biking the miles of trails on our private 400 acres of forests, fields and river frontage. Bring your birding Life List, we are sure you will see some new feathered friends to check off. Wildlife abounds both on the property and across the river at Androscoggin Riverlands State Park. Located just minutes from Lewiston-Auburn, Bates College, and local breweries. Quite often, a gentle breeze off the water will offer relief from black flies and mosquitoes, but the right bug repellent is recommended especially to fend off those pesky ticks that are so common in Maine.

Great birding spot
As usual we had a great time at Riverbank. If you enjoy birding it is a great spot. We had a flicker nest by the campsite. Saw and heard loons,, a family of Canada geese, and a barred owl, bobolinks, Baltimore oriole. We even saw a family of woodchucks and a beaver,
John and Pat are very accommodating and enjoy having conversations with them.
This is an amazing site! Amazing views, gorgeous lake with islands a very easy paddle away. Large, sites with the neighbors a good distance away. They respond promptly to texts and their kayaks are very nice. The meadow looks amazing at night. We will be back!
Super awesome site!!! Well-maintained, Spacious sites but still felt private. Beautiful land and good wildlife. Had nice porta potties. Canoes in great condition for the large river. One of the best site we stayed at. Pat was very helpful.
One of the best campsites ever
Loved our stay!
Great new addition of individual porta potties per site.
Walked the trails and saw lots of wondrous signs of nature.
Took a quick dip in the river (brr!, but refreshing).
Cant wait to return!
Great find with the cleanest camping spot with all the essentials during our Maine trip. Great views of the river and firewood for purchase with 3 grilling rack options over the fire. Each spot is pretty private (way more private than a state park campground) with a dedicated clean porta-potty. Just cool property that John is preserving with trails. Some wild turkeys came to visit us on the morning. Grateful Grain brewery is 20 mins away with great brews! Would highly recommend.
