Winter camping available. Private isolated campsite on 30 acres. Great bike trails. Wooded dry hilltop campsite with privacy and seclusion. I’ve constructed two 12’x12’ platforms at the top of the hill along with a custom built composting outhouse and huge stone fire pit.

Bike down your choice of trails into my network right from the site. Park your vehicle in the field near the trailhead and hike in to the camp or bring your four wheel drive vehicle right to the site. Utility cart available. I will provide all the wood you need for a campfire. As well as a water source located at the field. Approximately 7 kilometers of trail and counting. Bring your dog so long as it is behaved. You’ll be able to bike directly from here all the way to Bradbury Mountain state park and back (about 3-4 hrs) or easily drive to multiple trail networks. Pineland Farms located 1 mile away. 15 minutes to Bradbury Mountain state park. 20 minutes to Freeport Maine and LL Bean. 30 minute drive to downtown Portland. 10 minute drive to the nearest store. You’ll be all by yourself out there but close enough to hear the road nearby. You may see people riding a bike down on the main trail but you’ll be all set on top of the camp hill. I’ve created this one awesome refined site. There’s a lot of room here and plenty of spots for primitive camping. Don’t hesitate to contact me with questions.

This was such an awesome camp site! I loved how nicely it was set up and how clean the site was. Everything g you need for a great time camping was provided!! I was able to drive my Subaru Forester out there but if you have less clearance or it is muddy it might just be the best idea to walk and use the provided cart!

We loved this campsite! It is clearly very well maintained with lots of personal touches, and it was great not to have to worry about neighbors making too much noise. I would love to stay here again.

Jason’s site was the perfect spot as a home base just outside of Portland! Such a great secluded site on top of a hill with an amazing, huge fire pit, a platform for the tent to keep us dry and an outhouse that was the cherry on top for convenience. Jason was very communicative and hospitable, coming over in minutes to help us quickly build a fire and get the lanterns going on night one when we were laughably struggling! He provided us with dry firewood and fire starters + tons of tips for what to see and do around the area. Would 100% stay again and recommend to any group looking to camp and explore.

Myself, my husband, two teenage daughters and our dog so loved our stay at Jason’s camp at Megquier Farm. The site is beautifully situated within a forest clearing with an epic fire pit, hand crafted picnic table and benches. We pitched our tents on the platforms that lent a perfect view of the moon and treetops after dark. We loved the privacy and our dog loved the fun walking trails. Next time we’ll bring bikes for the fabulous mountain bike trails accessible right from the camp site. Easy short drive to Freeport and the coast. Thanks Jason. We’ll be back.

We had an amazing experience at Jason’s campsite this weekend. If you’re looking for secluded this is the place to go. The owner put a lot of effort to make everything convenient for campers but you still feel alone in the woods. The property is extensive, well marked, large fire pit, little home made table. Worth every $ for great memories. Our kids had an awesome time wandering around the trails and hearing the distant moo of cows from Pineland farms. It rained hard at night but the platform was perfect and we were dry in the morning. Beautiful sunset and sunrise through the trees. We hope to come back! We crossed paths with Jason briefly while getting water and he was very friendly and gave some good recommendations.

Exceeded expectations! The space was clean, private, and had some trails right off the site. The pictures don't do it justice. Thanks to Jason for the attention to detail. We would highly highly recommend this site and plan to come back soon!

We never saw the host. The site was imaculately kept. There was clean water, a trash barel and plenty of firewood. The road to the site was good enough for us to get there in my wifes station wagon.

We had a great stay at Jason's site. It was very private, clean, and well-maintained. Jason was also really helpful and friendly, answering any questions we had and providing information about the local area. He even hooked up a hose during our stay to provide easier water access for us. There was no grill on the fire pit so we got creative cooking directly on the fire, but would bring a camp stove next time!
