Open fields and big skies
We stayed here for a getaway for Labor Weekend which was the perfect choice for it's proximity to cute towns in Down East Maine, as well as Arcadia National Park.
Driving in, we were in aww of the wide open spaces and fields surrounding us, with a special spot dedicated to setting up our tents and making ourselves at home. It is basic camping at it's finest - simple and paired back, but with a secluded composting toilet and brick firepit for a little convenience and luxury. Keisha was super helpful and responsive as a host, meanwhile giving us space to feel truly off the grid.
While the weather didn't play ball for us, I can vouch for this site as a fun place to be even when the weather packs in. We got to watch some beautiful stormy clouds roll in and listen to rain on the tent at night. It feels you're transported to somewhere in England!
Will totally come back and experience this spot while the blueberries are in season as i'm sure that's magical all over again.
My friends and I had a wonderful time at Lakeisha’s camping site. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. One thing I would make note is that due to the location being a field it is notably flat and can get windy on some days.
Peaceful with beautiful vista. The 360 view of the night sky was something magical. The rocky road leading to the camp site was manageable in my front wheel drive VW van. The host was very commutative and even sent a pdf of local activities. Wish we had time to check out the reverse falls in Blue Hill. Favorite site of our entire camping vacation.
This spot was absolutely beautiful! Keisha was absolutely fantastic and gave us some great recommendations for swimming spots and some scenic views for our stay! The toilet, fire pit, and picnic table were well maintained and the blueberries were a treat! Thank you Keisha for everything!
Such an awesome camping experience. Perfect weather at the beginning of August, and blueberries for days all around us. Spent most of our time checking out Acadia, which is only about an hour away. Loved our stay and looking forward to next time!
such a beautiful spot, and such a wonderful experience! the ground was wonderfully plush for tenting on - and it was a momentous view to wake up to :) Lakeisha was very helpful in helping us find our way and making sure that we were situated and taken care of!
Beautiful blueberry fields
Our stay at Blueberry Fields Forever was great. Keisha was responsive to my many questions and very helpful with directions, etc. We saw so many shooting stars and the spot felt very private and magical. I would definitely stay here again. We were approached unexpectedly during our visit the next day by 2 men who lease the fields from Lakeisha. They were very surprised to see us there and asked if we had permission to camp. They let us know that the area we were staying in is an active agricultural field and pesticides were sprayed in an adjacent field recently. We were definitely surprised by this visit but Lakeisha was responsive again with her communication regarding the matter. Overall, our stay was beautiful and peaceful. Thank you, Lakeisha!
What a unique and fun camping experience! My son loved it so much he wanted to stay much longer than the one night we were here. We were lucky enough to come when the blueberries were in! Loved seeing the sunset and sunrise. It was so beautiful and peaceful, we can't wait to come back.
