A tranquil site in open and blossoming blueberry barrens, come later in the summer to pick your own fresh off the vine!  This location is relatively remote - a (in parts really) rough dirt road leads to my property which comprises 12 acres surrounded by/looking across hundreds of acres of other family members' blueberry barrens - perfect for those wanting a private and peaceful retreat!

Beautiful views of Blue Hill mountain, great sun (and sometimes moon!) rises and sunsets, and your own personal planetarium on clear (best on the new moon) nights!

On the same road as (5 min from) Kingdom Woods Conservation Area (800 acre area with peaceful trails and a pond), 10 minutes from Blue Hill town center and its amenities (YMCA - hot showers, Tradewind's/Coop supermarkets,) and nature mountain (hiking!) and its Bay (swimming!), 20-30 minutes from Holbrook Island Sanctuary, the historic Castine waterfront, the quaint finishing villages of Deer Isle and Stonington, and 45 minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park!

Discover Downeast Maine away from the crowds, at your very own quiet blueberry base!

We loved the location - wide open space but really out there and some of the best stars we’ve seen at night. The composting toilet was really well kept and easy to use. Our host was awesome and really responsive. I only wish we had stayed longer!

Perfect. The fields were beautiful. The site is quiet and peaceful. There's no one else around so it feels like you're all alone in the world. On a clear night, the sky is magnificent. We can't wait to come back.

A note about the road. We drove up in a Honda Fit and was able to make it up the hill but it was VERY dicey for us. The Fit has a pretty low clearance so if we went too fast, we'd scrape. We figured out that if you really go slow, really slow, you won't hit anything like we did the first time. So just go really really slow and you should be fine.

It was such a great experience! It's located literally in the middle of a blueberry field, which makes it a very special and quiet spot, having a light summer breeze running trough the open doors of our van...which became even more special during the night, when the sky turns into a planetarium.
Thank you so much again and we hopefully see you again

We totally enjoyed our 3 night stay at Blueberry Fields Forever. Wide open space with nice views of forested lands in the distance. Deep fog our first morning felt like the moors in a Brontë novel. Complete privacy and solitude; didn’t see anyone the whole time. Glad we brought the screen house as the mosquitos were out in the evenings, but not during the day. 10-15 minute drive to Blue Hill with great YMCA pool
and food coop. Highly recommend this place.

Lakeisha's spot in the blueberry field is absolutely stunning! High up on a hillside, with a beautiful view, we saw the most amazing sunset AND sunrise. They brought us ample firewood, and even attempted to make a gluten free pie for us. Above and beyond. I would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed this spot. Nice location on a hill with a 270 degree view of Maine. Lakeisha was super responsive and helpful. Would stay here again!

We loved camping on Lakeisha's property! We were at site #2 and appreciated the large tree near the camping spot. The blueberries were ripe and our kids loved picking them for a special breakfast treat in the mornings. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we highly recommend staying at Lakeisha's property when visiting this region of Maine. We would love to return again in the near future. Lakeisha was great with communication before and during our stay and offered lots of suggestions for making our visit to the region even better. We highly recommend the host and site to other Hipcampers!
