Ellie's is a new (May 2019) single RV site designed for use by your pull behind RV's or motorhome style recreational vehicles. Should you choose to book this site and use a vehicle that doesn't have a shower and toilet on board, you will not have access to a bathroom on site. You must provide your own porta potty. The RV's pictured belong to past guests and are not available for rent. Ellie's is located to allow easy access to both the Mount Desert Island section of Acadia and the Schoodic Peninsula section, the often forgotten about section of the Park, AKA the quiet part of Acadia. April 2021 update: You can purchase your park pass online and print it before you arrive. Reservations for Sand Beach or Cadillac Mtn are now required due to overcrowding.
Camp fires ARE allowed on this site as long as winds are under 10 mph.
While Ellie's doesn't have direct water access, there are many shoreline points of access close by.
Beaches and water access are everywhere. Wide open space does exist. Come explore the Maine coast.
Commuter traffic can be seen and heard from Ellie's RV spot. In 2019 over 3.5 million people visited the Acadia area.
Tenting is not an option on this site, sorry.
The construction of a small post and beam cabin is taking place 9-5 near Ellie's RV spot. Privacy of guests is priority.

Kevin and Julie were very nice and accommodating! The site had everything as advertised. The only thing to note is that it is on a fairly busy main road with a good amount of traffic so wasn’t an ideal spot to be with kids.
Right outside acadia
Great site on the outskirts of Acadia/ Bar Harbor. Site is well done. Hooks ups are very nice. The host is very knowledgeable on surrounding area.
It is close to a busy road so prepare your kids and pets. Owner is putting up a fence to help.
Lovely spot! Great location near both Lamoine State Park and Acadia. Julie was a great host who checked in a few times over text, but respected our privacy. The site was easy to find, had plenty of space, and equipped with all essentials. In addition to hookups and garbage it had a table, chairs and umbrella, a fire pit with Adirondack chairs, a basketball hoop and basketball, and cornhole. I’d highly recommend!
No neighbors, Corn hole, free firewood, B ball hoop. Not to far to Acadia National Park, Close to shopping in Ellsworth. Close to Lamoine Beach and State Park. Close to fairly noisy road but quiet enough at night, and we were off seeing the sights during the day. Great Basecamp to see the area. We would stay there again. Mark and Karla Tatum
Site was as described. It is close to the road but we knew that coming in. We were good with that and did not have any issues with our dog and road.
Hookups were easily accessible and site was immaculate! Close to Bar Harbor and hiking trails which was important to us!
