Bought to get grounded W.H.Y. did I purchase this 5 acres of land? This is my personal property I bought so I could get grounded while being surrounded by nature. Worth Healing Yourself is W.H.Y I invested in this land as well as myself! Enjoy rock hunting for agates, jasper, hematite, petrified wood and other mineral specimens. Property is 25 minutes from Richland Center. 30 minutes from Wisconsin Dells. Public land with miles of trout stream 3 miles away from the propertyy. The 400 State Trail is 7 miles away from property for bicyclists. Public road ATV and UTV trails surround WHY.  Both Lake Redstone and Dutch Hollow Lake are 10 miles away. The Baraboo and Pine River are within 10 miles. The famous Bunker Hill Tavern that hosts the cannon run is 1 mile away! Local village of Cazenovia offers two small town Tavern’s that serve food and good company. There is also a convenient store and small grocery store located in the village as well. This is not a commercial camp ground. Cancellation within Hipcamp Moderate Cancellation Policy WILL BE withheld with host discretion. Afton was a great host. She gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. Gave us a whole run down of the entire campsite. Even offered to make us a warm natural bath. She has two very friendly campsite cats. One slept with us the entire night and gave us comfort which was sweet. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to camp near the dells without dealing with the big crowds. We are looking forward to coming back in the fall!

WHY was amazing! It's just the right amount of spaced out area for many campers to set up and Afton provides anything you might have forgotten(like a blanket without holes in it!). She started an amazing fire by the string lights and even setup a projector for playing music videos on! Antonio played my daughter and I some of her favorite songs which my daughter added to her Playlist immediately! Definitely will be staying here again soon!

Afton was a cheerful, accommodating, and engaged host who gave us the BEST local hiking advice. The space has wonderful accessibility and our party absolutely loved seeing the wild Bear Corn in our campsite! The space was clean and well maintained despite recent heavy rain. Getting to meet the camp cats Agate and Cabela was a huge plus. Keep up the great work!

Great for bird watchers
We loved the beautiful forest setting. The many trees are filled with so many birds. We actually counted over 25 different species during our 5 day stay. We woke up to a young redheaded woodpecker in a tree next to our campervan every morning.

2nd stay better than the first!
Our first stay here last year was fantastic and this one was even better! We plan on booking here for many years. Great area, sites are beautiful, lots of trees!! Afton is an incredible host with boundless energy. Saw many changes to the layout this year (all improvements) that you didn’t even think were needed until you saw them. She has so much planned for this little piece of paradise that just listening to it all makes me tired. :) We came this year with almost our entire family, a 25’ microlite rv and tents. The corner site was plenty big and still very private. Afton is a great communicator, takes care of all your needs and treats you like royalty! There is one thing (not a negative) but those pulling a trailer should note: The Hipcamp is on a hill. Her main drive is VERY steep. She does have a jug handle drive also, but it is also a bit steep. We made it up the jug handle pulling the rv WITHOUT 4wheel drive, (we didn’t realize our 4wheel drive wasn’t working) but our tires spun a bit. Probably would not have been a problem with 4wheel drive on. You have to arrive heading south on NN if you are pulling a trailer. The turn is way too sharp coming from the other direction. Love this camp! HIGHLY recommend!
