Embark on a winter wonderland journey with River Forest Campground and Northward Adventures. Glide through snow-covered forests, conquer thrilling kicksled descents, and camp under a star-studded sky along the breathtaking Wolf River. We have Fully Wooded Electric and non-electric Sites starting at 30.00 per night for 2 adults and kids under 12 years old. Our spacious campground is located on just under 40 acres in the southeast corner of the Nicolet National Forest. We have fire pits and picnic tables at every site. Flush toilets and individual tiled showers are available. NOW AVAILABLE, a dump station for RV trailers. Water ~ Firewood~Dump Station Two Bathrooms/Shower Houses Ice ~Convenience Store Ice Cream Parlor Alcohol/Liquor/Tobacco We have an office on-site, store for your convenience which handles firewood, ice, beer & liquor, soda, snacks, souvenirs, as well as basic camping supplies, and groceries. If you need it or forgot it, we probably have it or can get it. Here's Plenty to Do! Tubing and rafting Available with pick and drop-off right at the campground - All Whitewater comfort levels - Slow lazy river with a few bursts of excitement - Guided tours with our Partner Moose Knee Rafting - Learn to Navigate the River. - Self-Guided Tours on Class 3 Rapids - Self-Guided Tours on Class 4 Rapids Mountain Bike track nearby Walking distance to hiking trails along the Majestic Wolf River Swimming/ Fishing/Boating on Nearby Boulder Lake and White Lake Many Area Restaurants and Taverns

Site 7 Electric RV Site

The owners are very friendly. The setting and atmosphere of the campgrounds is very nice. We've only stayed there twice but bothe experiences were pleasant. I will definitely recommend it to others and we will be going back there for sure.

It was a nice campsite that was very maneuverable, don’t even notice other people there because of the trees with big lots to park on.

3C Electric Large Group Site

Solid site! I don't think I'd want to put 7 tents in here, but it's possible. There were a fair few deep water areas after a SUPER heavy rain. Would have been rough if we were tenting. We had a 24ft travel trailer and a tiny popup and had plenty of room. Hosts were great, and nice to talk to. Rest of the campground looked good. Plenty of room for each site, always at least some trees in between. Every site is heavily forested, which I love. I didn't bring my solar panel, and I'm glad I didn't bother! Wood was bone dry. Bathroom was decent. Baseline campground bathroom, one stall each. Showers are paid with quarters and are separate entrances/rooms. Some of the group went kayaking and sounds like they had a great time. Great place for a group camp!
