We have a number of unpowered camp sites located approximately 5 minutes drive from Augusta, which offers a number of tourist attractions and great fishing spots. We are also located a short 800m from Jewel Cave, which is a very popular tourist attraction and cafe. ur campsites overlook paddocks of cows and horses, with a lovely breeze and a number of large trees to offer shade in the summer, while being protected from the harsh winds in winter. If you would like to camp out away from the hustle and bustle, in a tranquil and peaceful setting...then this is for you. However, if you like life's luxuries, then this won't be your cup of tea. One of the reviews said nice but a bit wild, I think they must be used to caravan parks or somethin. Toilet & camp; shower available. Dogs are permitted but this is a working farm with livestock so uncontrolled dogs chasing wildlife or stock may be shot if needed. Keep it under control or don't bring it !

Deepdene Farmstay Camping

Deepdene farmstay and camping.

Loved the peace and tranquility and the bird calls morning and night. It was off season so pretty much had the place to ourselves. Despite the awful weather, had a lovely time and enjoyed sitting by the campfire at the camp kitchen and having good conversation and good wine. plenty of toilets and showers available. Nice open campsites with plenty of trees. Easy access to the towns of Augusta and Karridale. Reliable mobile phone service.

Deepdene Farmstay Camping

I camped with 3 friends and our horses! Great camp setup , loved the camp kitchen, heaps of room . Plenty of room for our horse floats and temporary electric horse yards. Amazing riding in the area Definitely will visit again

Ok as bush camping in a paddock

View overlooking horse paddock. Plenty of room when we were there but was packed over Easter weekend. Camp kitchen ok but no fridge. Clean tidy composting toilets. Showers ok but hot water comes & goes. Shower next to camp kitchen called "Tardis" is an ex Telecom phone booth. Shower rose is primative with a kinked hose. Water pump is inside shower and exposed. I hope it is 12v not mains. Plenty of firewood. Most campers had a warm fire. Road is rough & ungraded and signage is either non existent or confusing.
