Our beautiful 100 acre farm is tucked deep in a holler off a fork of Orchard Run. We've named our road-less-traveled "Rubber Bucket" because it fits the simple down-home relaxed feeling people get when they finally make their way back here. But mainly, it just makes us giggle to say it. We bought this land in 2000 and it seemed a shame not to share it. So, we've etched out some beautiful secluded spaces, maintain lots of trails, and encourage folks to check out the best sights and spots. For instance, take in the majesty of our State Champ, the largest American Elm tree in West Virginia (designated by the WV Dept. of Forestry). Hike up to the ridge lines to play on our favorite boulders and outcroppings: Dragon Rock, Wintergreen Rock, and God's Palm. Swim in the Perfect Pond, trek out to Coyote Country, or visit the abandoned, once self-sustaining farm of the local legendary outlaw, Washington George McGraw.
