Hilltop Sunrise has three unique lodging opportunities: Standalone RV/Camper site, Standalone Vevor wall-tent, Single Van Life Overnight Parking Site. The New River Gorge National Park and Preserve is home to just about any outdoor activity you can think of: fishing, boating, rock climbing, mountain biking, swimming, whitewater rafting, stand-up paddle boarding, canoeing, hiking, bi-plane rides, and more. Nearby towns of Oak Hill, Fayetteville, and Beckley have local and national chain restaurants offering burgers, sandwiches, pizza, tacos and fish. Multiple local shops roast, grind and brew unique coffee. Into shopping? Oak Hill and Fayetteville are full of fun outdoor activities as well as places to to find antiques, collectables, one of a kind gifts, local and regional hand-made goods. Fayette County has it all! Rigs over 32 feet WILL require additional leveling. Our Vevor wall tent is 14' wide and 15' deep. As you step out of the tent onto the spacious front deck you are facing east so you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a spectacular sunrise. Being on a ridge means that your side yard and picnic table face west for beautiful sunsets over the rolling hills that frame Scarbro bottom. We use the name urban camping because the tent is nestled among towering oak, maple and hickory trees on a knoll about 100 feet above the confluence of US 19 and WV 16, Legends Hwy. The sound of traffic is present but not overwhelming. The site comes equipped with queen size super comfortable 21" deep air mattress. Linens are provided. There are two night stands, LED lanterns, a five gallon bottle of spring water with hand pump, mini refrigerator, casual indoor seating, patio furniture, two camp-style folding chairs, and an epoxy coated picnic table that comfortably seats four. Two 60-watt solar panels continuously charge a DJI power bank 1000. Guests have easy access to 110 volt (4 amp max) outlets, and multiple Fast Charge USB outlets. Remember to bring your own USB cords. Because our bath house is not yet complete, a super-clean porta-potty is located at road-level near the beginning of trail that leads to the tent. No bathroom facilities are available at the tent. Shower facilities are under construction but not available at this time.

The directions were very good, easy to access and level. John immediately checked to see if there was anything we needed. Had everything that you need including fire wood. Was exceptional

Hilltop sunrise was a great urban camp for us while we explored New River Gorge NP. Really close to the northern visitors center and close enough to explore the entire park. John the host was great, had fire wood available and a trash can for our convenience. The site has full hook-ups and all work as they should. We would recommend this site for exploring the NP.

This RV Site is super clean and easy to get into and out of. About 1/10 mile off US 19. This is NOT and RV Park, it is a single RV site with a very nice grass yard, picnic table, and fire ring.

Perfect for our needs. We had a day and a half to explore New River gorge with our five young kids ( 14 months to 6 years old) And this was the perfect base for that. Site was side to side level, full hookups worked great with no issues. Be advised that it is right on a state highway, but there was plenty of grass for the kids to run around in without too much worry of the kids running out into the street. John was very welcoming. 10/10 would base here again for a similar trip..

The owner keeps the yard cut and trash cans emptied. The place always looks nice. The location is super convenient.
