12 acres hosted by Jacob G.
15 tent sites
“CURRENTLY CLOSED, DO NOT BOOK” SIMSSIY Center is a private and somewhat primitive campground and retreat center sitting on 12.6 acres and bordered by forests. Our campground has 4 camping villages each with 4-7 tent sites. We have 3 compostable toilets (Bring compostable toilet paper) and 2 outdoor propane heated showers (Bring natural soaps). All with privacy in mind. We have garbage cans but ask that you take out whatever you bring in.
We are located 12 minutes from I-5 half way between Seattle and Portland. We are only minutes from the Cowlitz River and 15 Minutes from Ike Kinswa State Park, Mayfield and Rife Lake.
We have a large area for parking but no RV hookups. There is NO parking at our tent sites and it's approximately a 900ft hike into the campground. We have trailer services to assist with hauling your camping supplies to your tent site.
Our Campground and SIMSSIY Center was built with the intention of community building, personal growth and healing for the healers. Before any tree was cut or any trail made, we asked permission of the land and gave thanks and herbs in grateful exchange.
There are tails through out the campground with numerous little spots for sitting and contemplating. The land is a valley, and the campground is situated on the middle and top side of the far hill. There is 3 large group meeting spots, 1 is covered and has 2 small propane fire pits.
There are no open fires allowed in the campground yet. Propane cooking is allowed as long as there is close monitoring for fires.
We host numerous types of healing modalities in our sacred space, we ask our campers to respect this area of the campground and stay out of it.SIMSSIY Center is a private and somewhat primitive campground and retreat center sitting on 12.6 acres and bordered by forests.
