Within a 60-minute drive from the Nisqually Entrance.
Cowlitz Falls Lavender Co. is quietly located in the heart of Randle, Washington situated in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range and within 25 aerial miles of Mount St. Helens. Mount Lawetlat'la "the smoker" as it is known to the Cowlitz, is an active stratovolcano that helped prepare the ground we use to grow our product. The pomace present in our soil helps aid in drainage, some areas are as thick as four feet below our foot of topsoil. Our farm is surrounded by many adventures for the outdoor explorer local attractions include many campgrounds, Lake Skanewa which is only a few miles from the farm, the mighty Cowlitz River, not to mention hundreds of miles of forest roads to explore. Visit the Randle Ranger Station for permits for seasonal berry picking and more! Our farm journey began in 2014 with the purchase of vacant land. Having no idea what to do with it, and in a bad state of management, we needed to figure something out. Debbie enjoyed going to Sequim every year for their lavender festival. She joked about starting her own lavender farm, so in the winter of 2014 we moved a couple dozen test plants to a cultivated area of the farm for a test. After an over winter and no maintenance the plants did well, so we cleared our first acre of scotch broom, stumps, and garbage and planted 2600 plants. The following year we added another 2600 plants in a different variety. Over the years, our brand, process, and quality have grown and although we have met many challenges such as the loss of Debbie in 2018 we continue to push forward developing her vision. In 2021 her vision was realized with our largest festival yet, Debbie's farm had almost 4,000 visitors, close to 50 vendors, painting classes, demonstrations, and Washington royalty all attending at the peak of harvest which also happens to be her birthday weekend. As first generation farmers, we are continuously learning how not and how to grow and bring lavender to market and we have a lot of new things ahead. Thank you for being a part of our journey!

Meadow Life
Amazingly beautiful place, even though I got there later than expected and in the dark, Justin still came out and showed me my spot and made sure I was set. Would for sure come back and recommend to anyone thinking of staying.

Loved camping! Can’t wait to be back
We decided on this campsite last minute because one of the other sites had canceled last minute so we needed to find a campsite for the end of our road trip up the coast. We saw this beautiful land and had to book! It was later in the season so Justin was VERY accommodating of us by letting us choose a campsite that would be less wet and more private. We paid for wood, but there is a sign that said to get the amount you need for a fire (and to not abuse it or else it would need to be regulated). We bought a gift bag through the app and Justin hand delivered it by the time we set up! My fiancé and I spent 2 days here and loved the campsite. There was a .75 mile hike around the property line which had beautiful views of mountains. The bathroom was a little walk and had a non-potable water jug for washing hands. Really relaxing and peaceful, and will be back again if we’re around!

Lavender Field RV Experience
No lavender experience for us
Overall the campsite is safe and secure with it being about an hour from Rainier’s Nisqually entrance and an hour and a half from Mt. St. Helens. We appreciated the picnic table as well. It was a big bummer to see that all of the lavender had already been harvested by the time we arrived though (9/18). Additionally the port a potty was in bad condition and did not look to have been serviced any time recently. A lavender bouquet and a clean bathroom would have gone a long way.

Meadow Life
Solid Hipcamp near Rainer and Adams
Overall a solid experience at Justin's Hipcamp and great communication throughout and a super clean portable toilet. However, considering many nearby less expensive options in the National Forest and National Park, I don't think we'd return after spending $20 for a top-notch spot with water and toilets in a Mt. Rainer NP campground that we booked aorund the same time. The Meadow Life spot was basically an open field out of view from the lavender field with a fire ring in the middle and the field had few level areas to park our 13 foot long camper. No fault to the host with the burn ban in place, it made our below average site into a below average experience. The other campsite was a bit to close in view as well...might consider plantings to support more privacy in this wide open area in the future. Just a few too many cons for the price tag, sorry!
