Fairies gate
Cameron’s camp was AWESOME. Rod is so so welcoming and kind. As two young female campers we felt incredible safe here and would absolutely camp here again. The communal fire pit and lookout deck is such a sweet touch. You can tell that Rod really cares about this camp and the people who stay.
He is putting in a shower and toilet which will make this place that much more comfortable.
10/10 would recommend!!

Nice!
Beautiful property with shared deck looking over the river. No access to the river due to high level now. Extremely nice mellow host. Some train noise.

We didn’t end up staying here for a variety of reasons. First, we were looking for a quieter place away from fireworks noise for my anxious dog. Secondly, the site wasn’t as expected. While it is up on a bank above the beautiful river, the tent site is quite small in dense trees with a filtered view of the water. It is reached by walking 200-300 feet directly through the hosts space and 3 feet in front of his trailer home and down some stairs. The host was also smoking which we are sensitive to. It was not the natural environment we were looking for.

This a sweet campground! Rod was super nice and welcomed me. He is putting in a bath and shower system and that will make this place truly the perfect stop! A communal fire pit and deck give a homey and lively atmosphere! Great spot- just trains sometimes!

This place is only cool if you’re…
This place is only cool if you’re looking to hang with the dude who lives in the trailer on the property, and hangs out at your campsite. Also must enjoy taking a 💩 in the bag toilet in front of his Camaro. Turns out my wife and kids are not, so we left.

The place was very conveniently located and Rod was so kind & helpful! I had originally booked another site but he walked me around to the property & let me change spots. Ended up having some other incredible guests there. We stayed around the fire until late Saturday night. Close to lots of great hikes & right on the Skykomish. My pup was in heaven! We’ll be back
