Short Stay at River's Edge
First of all, the views are far better in person than online! The campsites are spacious, level, and well-maintained, including a very well-designed water and power "island" set in cement. My only "complaint" was that the water/power/sewer were on the right side (driver side) so I had to run the gray/black hose under the camper, (as well as power and water). Not a biggie, but my observation. It's a tranquil, restful location and doesn't have traffic or other disruptions from traditional campsites. I would stay here again is my lasting impression. The view is unbelievable, and great for sunsets!

Nice Location
The site was very nice overlooking the New River with awesome sunset views. It was big rig friendly as we have a 36' class A towing. There was direct access to the New River rail trail. There's not much around except Doller General..so bring your provisions!

This is our second stay at the site. It did not disappoint. The view is great to enjoy the sunset. We kayaked on the river one day and biked on the new trail the second. Biking is convenient from the campsite but the climb back to the site is steep in some places. We found a place 10 minutes away that hauled our kayaks upriver so we could paddle back.
