Perfect Mountain View’s & Sunrise
Amazing place to camp at the top of a mountain overlooking the valley below. I stayed in campsite 2 which has a bit more shade than campsite 1. Perfect solitude up there as I never saw a sole during my stay. My small SUV made it up to the top where the campsite just fine, however a low clearance car might have issues. You can hear road noise from Interstate 81 but it really wasn’t a big deal. You have great cell service up there, lol as there are 2 cell phone towers right next to site 2. Again, no big deal as they don’t obstruct the amazing views. Wake up early to catch the sunrise! It was a beautiful place to pitch a tent. I will be back to this gem of a campsite,

Beautiful view! Nice and private! Off the beaten path. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The host was super accommodating to a lat reservation. Strongly recommend!

Stunning views!!
This place was amazing. We stayed at site 1. There was so much space and the view is outstanding. Jeff was super accommodating and it was private so my kids could roam free. We will be back when he opens next camping season!

Amazing privacy, with valley view.
Dices Spring Farm was an awesome getaway. Beautiful views from the campsite. Stayed in site 1, very private, could not see site 2 from from our site. Once up the hill, very level and plenty of room. There is some traffic noise from I-81, but the views certainly made up for it. Great breeze, only needed fan at night, which also drowned out the hum of traffic.
Conveniently located near, Shenandoah Park, Staunton, etc.
Would definitely visit again!

Site 1 - Dices Spring Farm Camp with a VIEW
One Of Our Favorite Campsites
This is one of our favorite camping sites we have ever found. It is perched on the ridge overlooking the valley and the mountains setting the backdrop.
We stayed at site 1 which was perfect for summer camping.
Up on the hill, there was a nice breeze. Keeping the bugs away and cooling off the tent made for a great night of camping.
And since it was fenced by the trees, the sunrise didn’t blaze us out of the tent. It stayed shady until we checked out near 11 am in late August.
Everything was well laid out with fire ring and picnic table. And the two sites are far enough apart to allow for privacy. It felt like we had the valley to ourselves.
It’s also conveniently close to a small town and a marketplace complete with a coffee shop and food trucks. So if you forgot something, or decide not to cook, it’s only 6 minutes down the road.
As mentioned in the description, you will hear highway noise. But we didn’t mind that at all. It was worth it for such an amazing, well planned campsite.
We have found our spot next time we come to Shenandoah.

Beautiful location, we’ll be back!
My husband and I stayed here for one night with our dog and we had a great time! It’s a beautiful location. There was one other camp site on this hill but there was so much space we still felt secluded. We drove our car right up to the site. Had a picnic table and a fire pit on site and we brought the rest. We will definitely be back!

We didn't end up staying at Jeff's camp spot because we decided to head home a night early but Jeff kindly refunded us and was super helpful and understanding of us having to cancel last minute! Hopefully we find ourselves back in this area and can stay on this beautiful piece of land! Thanks again!

Jeff's land is absolutely breathtaking. The views are phenomenal. Not another person in sight! Jeff was prompt on answering questions and was super helpful. Highly recommend this beautiful place. Be prepared to fall in love!

This spot is amazing!
This place was amazing! My fiancé and I spent the day hiking and wanted to find a place to camp out away from everything on the 4th of July. Once we got there Jeff got us wood and made sure we were all taken care of. Fireworks were going off all over, it was quite, dogs were happy running around, it was amazing. The best part was waking up to the view. It topped our random trip off making everything a perfect experience. We definitely will be back and recommend this to anyone looking to just get away for a night and enjoy being outside!

This campsite was beautiful and serene! Perched on top of a grassy hill, this spot offers lovely views of the town below and the mountains in the distance. Jeff was very responsive and helpful, even as we booked just the day before our stay. Would definitely return!

Stunning sunrise view!
Absolutely beautiful view across the Shenandoah valley with farms visible across the way. Picnic table, fire ring and mulch to sleep on are really nice touches. I stayed in Site2 which does have a cell phone tower right beside it (if you have creeps about such things). There was someone in Site1 that I never saw or heard because the sites are pretty far apart. Gravel drive is steep, but I made it up in my regular old Mazda hatchback. Jeff was responsive and kind. Would absolutely stay again.

Spectacular View of the Blue Ridge!
Dices Spring Farm has an exceptional spot for spending a night or two. Its a spectacular view thats better than any other national forest or public camping spot Ive seen in the Shenandoah Valley area. Jeff is a great host and super accommodating - he even left me a stack of firewood knowing I was rolling in by bicycle.

Our first favorite spot!
This was our first time using Hip camp and it was a very spontaneous instabook. We got soooo lucky. The host let us pick our spot, brought us a picnic table, and provided some wood on our first night because we arrived at dusk. Our dog had plenty of open field to run and our cat had plenty of wooded areas to explore! The view of the mountains, town and farm below were amazing during the day, as well as at night with a full view of the night sky. We couldn't have asked for a better first experience!
