Estate with a Spectacular View
The Fairview estate is a beautiful property with panoramic views of the Shenandoah mountains. Your campsite is located in a small fenced in field to the side of a beautiful and unique old house. Jennifer, the host, was very responsive to my messages and met me when I arrived to show me around and answer any questions. She typically remains onsite so she is usually available if there is an issue. The farm houses several horses, cows, and peacocks which only add to the experience. Make note that there are no restrooms or electrical outlets available. If possible, I would suggest designating a private area to use the bathroom. There were other guests renting out the house which made it somewhat awkward at times, but there were no problems. Overall, the property is very well maintained by Jennifer and her team. I had a great experience camping here and am excited to return in the fall for my wedding!

Estate with a Spectacular View
My stay at Jennifer's farm was both her and my first experience with HipCamp, and it couldn't have gone better.
My group and I had driven from Cleveland and were looking for a spot to get refreshed and organized before backpacking the Three Ridges Loop. Fairview was the perfect place for this. Jennifer is wonderful to talk to, and she gave us access to water, a fire pit, and a beautiful field with a view of Mt. Pleasant to sleep in. She even made coffee in the morning! Her property is breathtaking, rich with history, and full of animals, including a young foal. It is about a 30 minute drive from Devil's Backbone Brewery and popular trailheads.
Thanks for letting us stay, Jennifer!
