We were very happy with the peaceful, quiet and quite unusual camp site. Even Bonnie, our cat, enjoyed watching all the animals. She was running from window to window following them.
With many animals to watch and games to play, the place is perfect for families with young kids.

A Perfect Getaway!
My husband and dogs had a fantastic stay at Jason’s property! He was a great host. We got there super late on Friday night and he helped us set up in the dark and very accommodating! He gave great tips of places to go near by and we truly enjoyed our time. The nearby town is so cute and everyone is super friendly and also a lot of stores are dog friendly which was awesome for our pups, who also had a blast! The farm animals were funny and entrainment to watch, the fresh eggs were delicious. The hot tub was definitely one of the best ones we ever used and just so serene going in at night under the stars and just relaxing after a long day of activities. Jason and his family are great and welcoming people, I would definitely recommend staying at this place. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

Awesome driveway camping
Jason was a great host and was quick to respond to our texts. We showed up very early so as to accommodate Jason's travel plan and while on route to NC he texted us to see how we were doing. We had the driveway to ourselves. It was an awesome experience of relaxation, tree watching and listening to the chickens, goats and pig. We would of used the fire pit and Hot Tub but there was a winter storm coming. If ever we come through this area we will definitely book again.

Great winter camping spot
What a cool property! Great for a winter stay with the hot tub and close to both downhill and cross-country skiing. We'd definitely be back!

Delightful mini-farm
Jason’s mini-farm is a delightful place to stay. Level RV site, not far from the house and near to the fenced area where there are chickens, 4 or 5 goats a turkey and a pig. No barnyard smells and the animals are quiet.
Jason is super responsive and helpful. He recommended a great cafe/country store in Peru and a unique country Congregational church across the street.
As other reviews have mentioned, the hot tub is pristine clean and a real treat.
Even though the site is in the side yard of the family house, we had plenty of privacy.

Hot tub on a small farm
Jason met us when we pulled in with electricity, water, and some delicious fresh eggs. The site was great and we pulled straight in. Later we decided to turn the van around so our passenger side faced away from the house. We felt completely private. Well, private, except for the goats, pig, turkey, and chickens in the pen next to us. We really enjoyed watching them. The hot tub is exceptional, and I highly recommend you add that to your stay.

Great Host and Peaceful Stay!
Jason was an attentive host and the Class A was exactly what you would expect when staying in an RV. Place was clean inside, had 2 RV size televisions, and was stocked with what you need. Jason had a fire going outside when we arrived and it was a quiet wooded atmosphere. I was worried maybe chickens would wake us but they were very quiet and we actually slept in longer than we wanted it was so peaceful. All you really need on a roadtrip stay!

We had everything we needed at this RV. Jason was super hospitable and the area was quiet. We didn't spend a lot of time at the site, as we were visiting nearby family, but did take advantage of the hot tub, which was really nice.

Big fans over here
Our stay was fantastic! Jason was very quick to communicate and answer questions for us before we even arrived to his property for our stay. Upon arrival he was there and ready to greet us with a tour of his property and a dozen eggs from his farm, which is an excellent touch (and very tasty over ramen).
He has a nice 1/4 mile trail around their property, that breaks off to a nice little pond for a great change of scenery. We felt very safe among the trees at a quiet and peaceful dead end road, so we were never bothered during our stay. It was a little rainy during our stay, and as we love to hike, we also love to hang out and we felt comfortable enough to do so during the day. That being said, Jason is right next to plenty of outdoor activities to do during all seasons, which makes this a great location for those hoping to explore the outdoors of Vermont. He also has plans to install a gravel lot for vehicles to park on, as well as install a 30 amp hook up for those who need it.
Some little bonuses include time with very nice barn animals and if you ask nicely, Jason might let out some goats and the pig for you to hang out with for a bit. He's got a disc golf basket with enough space around it to make some cool shots. And last but certainly not least, probably one of the nicest hot tubs we've been in. It was very nice to spend time in on a cool day and cooler evening, it is definitely worth it!

Check-in: Awesome, I had some issues with our vehicle the day before and Jason was communicative and flexible. We did arrive extremely late in the night, but he was still there to greet us! Power and Wifi password was provided upon arrival. The property is on a dead end street, it'll be on your left side.
Stay: Relaxing and quiet. This hipcamp is literally in the woods in all directions. The T-Mobile coverage was excellent (with WeBoost), but the wifi from where we camped was reachable with our bear wifi extender. Able to work and stream without any issues for our entire stay. There is a quaint little pond at the dead-end part of the stream which is a short downhill walk. We off-leashed our puppy there to play catch for a good minute! There were chickens and goats and even a pig! The property also has 3 doggos that played with our puppy. The weather was perfect, considering how humid and hot the surrounding areas were at lower elevation. We thought we would need AC, but ended up not even hooking it up. Because the property is at a dead-end, there is literally no noise at all, aside from farm animals nearby. While we did enjoy this property deep in summer, this location would be idyllic for a sunbird looking to enjoy a ski trip. Jason plans to have a 30amp for large electrical needs, so that'll be fantastic for folks with bigger rigs and want to stay for skiing. The location is perfect because you are literally 15 minutes away from multiple ski resorts.
Check-out: Fast and easy. Jason was not there to head us out, but we left the way we found it. We were able to refill our fresh water before heading out. 100% would come back here for a winter stay if in the area. Highly recommended. Also Jason gave us some farm fresh eggs for the road!
tl;dr: Peaceful hipcamp deep in the Vermont Mountains with perfect weather and ideal location for cool weather summer camping or winter camping/ski tripping.
Stayed here in a 19-foot-long skoolie. @bigsirbus would stay here again.
