Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Stay on a working Vermont farm with mountain views by day and countless stars by night. Experience authentic country living with modern comfort. Wake up to the serenity of the Vermont countryside, sip your morning coffee with a view, and spend your days biking, skiing, hiking, or exploring charming nearby towns. • 30 min to Smugglers’ Notch • 45 min to Jay Peak • 50 min to Burlington • 90 min to Montreal A perfect getaway for those looking to enjoy Vermont’s charm and outdoor adventures. What Makes It Special • Acres of fields and woods right outside your door • Vermont maple syrup made on site (seasonal) • Year-round heifer-raising operation — in summer, you can see them grazing across the street (about 300 yards from the house); the rest of the year most are at our barn about a mile away • Starry skies at night — on clear nights the Milky Way is often visible • In fall, try an apple from our trees or visit a local apple-picking site, pumpkin patch, or corn maze • In winter, sled down a hill when there’s enough snow — perfect for kids (and kids-at-heart) We are approximately a 28-minute drive to Smugglers’ Notch and 45 minutes to Jay Peak.Stay on a working Vermont farm with mountain views by day and countless stars by night. What Makes It Special - Acres of fields and woods right outside your door - Vermont maple syrup made on site (seasonal) - Year-round heifer raising operation — in summer, you can see them grazing across the street (about 300 yards from the house); the rest of the year most are at our barn about a mile away - Starry skies at night — on clear nights the Milky Way is often visible - In July & August, picnic in the garden and pick fresh blueberries - In Fall, try an apple from our trees or visit a local apple picking site, pumpkin patch, or corn maze - In winter, sled down our backyard hill when there’s enough snow — perfect for kids (and kids-at-heart). We are ~30 minute drive to Smugg’s and ~45 minutes to Jay Peak. *** Part of our farm stay charm is that we produce our own fuel to heat the house. During the winter months, we will drive up twice a day — usually early in the morning and again before bed — to tend the furnace in the building just behind the house. We pull up to the right of the garage and slip around back for about five minutes to refill it. Downstairs - 1 bedroom (queen bed) - 1 bath (standing shower) - Wash room and office space - Kitchen/dining area - Living room Upstairs - East bedroom has a king bed - West bedroom is a full with a twin on top (bunk) - Full bathroom (w/tub)
