Relax in deep quiet by a campfire, go to sleep under abundant stars in a deep dark sky, and awaken to a morning symphony of wild birds! Our property offers your choice of hilltop campsites nestled among 100 acres of gentle meadow trails within our organic biodynamic hemp farm. Located next to Shaw Mountain Reserve (one of the most biodiverse spots in New England, with primitive hiking trails), If the trail at Shaw Mountain Reserve is intimidating, you are invited to stroll miles of easy trails crossing our biodiverse landscape amidst permaculture and regenerative farming. We are adjacent to scenic Champlain Valley bike routes along quiet back roads that stretch into the surrounding wilderness. Nearby organic farms offer high-quality fresh provisions. We are a few miles from free boat access to lower Lake Champlain. Consider us as a base camp for Vermont day trips. The historic towns of Vergennes, Castleton, and Middlebury are about 40 minutes away, while Lake George and Lincoln, Vermont are roughly an hour’s drive. Our hills provide sweeping panoramic views of the Green Mountains, with nearby access points such as Brandon, just 30 minutes to the east. Local activities include: - Devil's Bowl Car Racing: The fastest track in New England is in Benson. They are celebrating their 60th anniversary this year. - The Bigfoot Museum in Whitehall is fascinating. - Fort Ticonderoga and the Hubbardton Battlefield are wonderful for history lovers and hikers.
