Green Feathers Farm is a small homestead with free-range chickens, a frog pond and gardens intended for birds and butterflies. Within a 30 minute radius you will find hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, and swimming. Our farm is a quiet place for relaxing and reconnecting between outdoor adventures.Our canvas bell tent is nestled in the back corner of our simple, rustic farm. Enjoy a campfire, watch the frogs, and listen to the birds each morning. Our bell tent is complete with a full sized bed, space to store your belongings, chair and a coffee station. Green Feathers Farm is located outside of town, on a quiet road perfect for walking and biking. Nearby historic markers describe the early days of Springfield. Hike at Hartness Park or Muckross State Park, both within 5 miles. The Connecticut River is nearby for boating and fishing, and Old Fort Number 4 is minutes away in Charlestown, New Hampshire. Ascutney Outdoors, Bromley Mountain and Killington are all within 45 minutes and offer a variety of summer activities.
