This was our second stay at Boot Hill Farm, and it was definitely as good as the first. Free firewood and a nice hot shower (towels included) added up to a very relaxed evening around the fire watching the sun set and the moon rise. The next morning’s breakfast was even better with farm fresh eggs and bacon from the farm store. A wonderful place to stop for a night!

We loved our visit. Great little place for kids. Our kids got to play with the animals and experience a little of farm life. Rico, the farm dog kept us company and was fun for the kids to play with. Would highly recommend..

Jessica and her family are very friendly and welcoming. You stay in a field adjacent to the main farm area so there is a feeling of being connected a little bit to a farm. The field is rustic and simple. The lights and some sounds of Vernal are not too far away so it is not totally secluded. But you can feel very relaxed there, enjoy the night sky, and so forth. There is great bathroom and a little farm store. So in short it is staying in a farm field not anything remote but in that sense very welcoming and cozy As a stop along the way.

We really enjoyed our stay at Boot Hill Farm. Jessica and her family were welcoming and kind. The farm itself is beautiful. There are toilets, a shower, and free firewood to burn in their fire pits.
We HIGHLY recommend getting some of their homemade ice cream and kombucha. They also sell other great farm goods in their shop - just ring the bell and a family member comes to help!
They have friendly farm dogs as well as barn cats (and kittens when we were there!). The other animals are penned away from the camping area. It does smell a bit like a farm at the camp site, but it’s not unpleasant.
The smoke from wildfires in CO and CA were bad for visibility when we were there, but I imagine normally that the views are wonderful!

Boot Hill Farm was a peaceful place, with friendly people, lovely views, and a wonderful farm store with fresh bread, meat, milk, ice cream, etc. If you'd like to see a real farm in action, this is a good place to do it. Plus, Vernal is close by with Uintah County Heritage Museaum (free), Utah Field House of Natural History, restaurants, and shops (Ashley Trading Post was a fave).

Great site in a meadow overlooking Vernal with lots of firewood for a bonefire. We really enjoyed sitting around the bonefire chatting into the evening. Two restrooms are available, one with a nice hot shower that felt so good after a week of camping. Farm store has lots of products to round out your meal plans — farm-raised meat, eggs, milk. Recommend the Peachman pinstraw kombucha. Overall, a very nice, relaxing place to stay.

We were greeted by Jessica and a herd of goats when we arrived and shown all the amenities (the store, the bathroom, the showers!) before choosing a spot to make camp. We ate delicious homemade Italian sausages over the open fire for dinner and fell asleep to a symphony of crickets. Our dog loved exploring the open field, and the sunrise was spectacular. If we ever pass through Vernal again, we will most certainly be back. What a special place!

Jessica and her family were great! The campsite was not as private as I had hoped, and I had to worry about my pups safety from both the off leash farm dogs and other nearby campers dogs. But I loved the night stars, very little mosquitos, clean bathrooms, and free provided fire wood!!

Amazing!!!! Jessica was wonderful and the whole experience was great. Goats were sent out to graze every morning and evening right next to our campsite, the kids were able to do farm chores daily and the view was to die for, especially sunrise. There is a store onsite with fresh eggs, milk, ice cream and meat. We will be returning.

We enjoyed camping at Boot Hill Farm. Jessica was very welcoming. Delicious ice cream and kombucha in the little store. We also enjoyed fresh apricots from the orchard!! Lovely place.

Such a great experience spending a night on a farm. Host was extremely friendly & gave us a tour of the farm when we arrived. Our site felt private & it was so fun to wake up to goats milling about the field we were camped in. We had a very quick stop over so didn’t get to do and see as much as you could while staying there but would highly recommend this. Bathrooms are as you would expect on a working farm. Didn’t use the shower but nice to have the option. Thanks for the hospitality Boot Hill Farms!

From the moment we pulled onto the farm, until we left, we felt like invited guests. If you are anywhere near Vernal, Utah, it is worth the trip to Boot Hill Farm. Jessica is a wonderful host and invited us to help milk goats and collect eggs. There was firewood waiting at our campsite and the most delicious ice cream in their store. It is a special spot and would recommend this site to anyone looking for a fun farm experience.

Jessica was warm and welcoming! The farm was cute and tranquil. The perfect little get away. Trying some of their farm fresh item is a must! We loved the jalapeño bratwurst! We only got to spend one night here during our road trip, but wished we could have spent more!

Jessica and her entire family were the greatest of hosts! Not only welcoming us onto their farm but inviting us to help with farm chores. They were patient and gracious as we collected and cleaned eggs, fed and milked the goats, and fed the pigs and young cow. A truly fantastic experience. And their homemade ice cream at the farm store is possibly the best I've had! I can’t recommend staying here highly enough!

We had a wonderful time at this location! The view was astounding first off, perfect place to camp. The host was so sweet and accommodating, and having access to purchasable fresh goods is lovely. We got a tour of the farm and met her animals, my favorite being Rosie the cow. It was so pretty and calm there, definitely would return during another trip!

I stayed for one night while passing through on a long drive. The host, Jessica, was extremely helpful while I was driving and sent me great directions and all the info I needed when I arrived, as I was going to be arriving quite late at night. She even stayed up and made sure I found everything ok. The farm looked beautiful and I had a little area all to myself.

Our family had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend at boot Hill Farms. The hosts are very friendly, and make you feel like you’re part of the extended family. The farm itself is very quaint, with some of the friendliest Farm animals you’ll ever meet. The breathtaking view of the mountains in the distance paired with the green grassy plains, made this a trip to remember.

I just stopped through for one night, but I wish I had had more time on the farm. I was traveling solo but felt very safe and welcomed. Beautiful place with beautiful people. Jessica and the whole family were so kind and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for the 3rd and 4th of July!! It was beautiful and my kids ages 6-13 absolutely loved the farm!! They loved all of the animals so much! My daughter learned how to milk a goat and my other son loved helping move and feed the chickens in the morning! Jessica and her family are so nice and we loved it here!!
