Experience the charm of a tiny school bus home, complete with all the creature comforts, nestled in a quirky backyard featuring a fire pit and picnic table. Our location is convenient, situated close to downtown, the University of Texas, Mueller, and within walking distance to numerous excellent restaurants and a brewery. Easily accessible transportation options, such as walking to the train or bus, make exploring the area a breeze.
Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, heating, and TV for your convenience. The full bath includes a Separett composting toilet (the litter box). The cozy space offers a full-size bed and a comfortable couch, accommodating up to two guests. Please note that the ceiling height is 6'2", so taller guests may need to duck their heads and curl up in the bed for optimal comfort. Unfortunately, driving the bus is not an option.
For a simple and quick departure process, guests are kindly asked to empty their own "litter box" along with other trash. Embrace the uniqueness of this accommodation and enjoy a memorable stay in our one-of-a-kind tiny school bus home.This comfortable little school bus tiny home is located in a fenced back yard just north of the University of Texas. The bus has all the amenities of a home and there is room for up to two people. Coffee maker, shower, heaters air, conditioners, extra blankets pillows, full-size bed and a nice size couch. All of the kitchen necessities, stove, oven, fridge, toaster, salt, pepper, olive oil, coffee and tea. Nice outdoor space with a garden, fire pit and picnic table. Please note that the space has got a Separett Villa waterless composting toilet and you must remove your solid waste and put it out in the bin at check out. Google it and understand what this means and make sure you can comply with this requirement before booking it. It’s really no big deal, it’s basically taking out the (stinky) trash. Additionally, there is a stepstone path to the bus so you will need to carry your luggage instead of roll it, please.
