I would recommend this spot any day of the week. Nora is very welcoming and hospitable. The yurt was very clean and the energy was just right for a weekend away from worries and responsibilities.

Overall we had a great experience. Unfortunately, the water was from a well and smelled really bad. Also, we couldn't lock up. It is out in the country but going to bed with the doors unlocked was an unsettling feeling. I had bought alot of food to be cooked in the oven while we was there and come to find out the oven didn't work and only one burner worked, so that was interesting to get around. We loved that we was able to disconnect from everyday life and just hang out, hike, play games and bond as a family. We enjoyed being on the deck either drinking coffee or eating dinner. It overall needs some work but it has awesome potential! We would definitely be back if these things were fixed. Mrs. Nora was very kind and lovely and was great with our kids.

We had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to go back again. The Hosts were very welcoming and helpful! It’s a beautiful farm with beautiful views. We really enjoyed the creek and porch at the yurt. I was nervous about the composting toilet, but it did not smell at all and was a non issue. Definitely family friendly place to unplug and enjoy nature.

We had a wonderful time at the Yurt and couldn´t be any happier. We felt so fortunate being able to enjoy breathtaking views from our cozy, comfortable, and private accommodation. We couldn´t ask for more. Nora was the best host and my daughters talk about her like she is one more of the family :)

The Yurt at Creekbend Farm is awesome. It’s very private and the perfect farm experience getaway. The creek is great for a summer day with kiddos. Don’t let the “Bucket” bathroom scare you- it’s clean and doesn’t smell and it was actually kinda fun to learn about. This is the ultimate “glamping” experience. We made a fire and we all slept like babies! It’s so quiet. We saw deer and the cows there are very friendly. We will definitely go back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Yurt + extended bedroom for our children. The view from the deck is splendid. Our hosts were delightful, entertaining, and helpful. The potteries and the self-made oven is truly amazing. The private creek is clear and refreshing ( We had a chance to see an otter from close range). No mosquitos !!! ( If you travel from Georgia). Lots of deers and other non-harmful wildlife around.

The Yurt at Creek Bend Farm
The yurt was the perfect stay for our family. We enjoyed seeing deer in the early mornings and evenings. The children loved watching the cows. Getting to the creek is a hike thru tall grass but totally worth it once you get to it. We loved it so much not even the rain could ruin our time playing in it. The cave mentioned is for spurlunkers which we are not but we drove about an hour away and toured Cumberland cave. We will be back again!

Relaxing to watch the deer and cows in the meadow, as the sun went down. Nora walked us to the creek which has the clearest water I've seen in TN. A relaxing and peaceful place ot visit.

This is a fabulous little place. It was so nice to unplug (no service) in such a beautiful setting. I loved spending the evenings on the deck looking at the stars, which are so bright and clear without light pollution. If you are into roughing it a bit, this is the spot for you. What a great place for a last minute trip. Thanks, Nora!!

Nora was absolutely lovely! The Yurt and then farmland surrounding it is absolutely beautiful. The creek on the property was so refreshing. My kiddos loved catching little creek critters and my dog never wanted to stop swimming. We are already planning to book our next stay!

Such a beautiful place for our family to spend time together! The creek was really fun to explore! We loved meeting all the farm animals and seeing all the wildlife and aquatic life. Nora is an amazing host who inspired and educated our family. My 12 year old daughter is inspired to be a farm girl someday and this place is her “life goal” now. We can’t wait to come back!
Good to know: This is a working farm. If you are considering this property, you and your family should be sure-footed, sensible and safe. The yurt has stone/wooden steps and a stone deck. The creek has mossy rocks. There is a hilly driveway, and a bridge that, to some, may make them feel like they are on those oil change/car wash ramps...but it is totally safe and easy to drive across. The humanure toilet is a container you sprinkle with sawdust and it is not smelly or gross as long as you and your family members follow directions. All of these things are nonissues to us—make sure they are nonissues to you, too. Be a good steward of the property...Clean up after yourself, recycle correctly, and leave this peaceful place better than you found it.

The yurt was clean, comfortable -- and spacious! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We spent a lot of time on the deck, enjoying the view and the quiet. We also enjoyed the delightful swimming hole in the creek nearby. Nora was a delightful and responsive host. We definitely plan to return to the Yurt at Creekbend Farm.

This property is absolutely incredible! Access to beautiful water, tons of great hiking, adorable wildlife, comfortable accommodations and amenities. Rob and Nora were extremely kind and generous hosts. I’ll be visiting again very soon. Highly, highly recommend!

Deluxe Glamping in a large yurt in a pastoral peaceful setting. Congenial hosts will direct you and your vehicle down the gravel track to your secluded accommodations with comfortable bed, full-size fridge and stove, toilet facilities in adjoining room. A secondary space has a clawfoot tub shower combo and sink and an additional room with a small bed and cot. Great set up for a family. Fire ring, deck, Creek with swimming hole, electricity, water, no Internet or Wi-Fi.

The place is great. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Nothing fancy...but very nicely designed and very well kept. And the setting is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet getaway

I can’t say enough to recommend this place! It is very private and away from everything, yet has every creature comfort, including air conditioning 😁. We spent hours on the deck lingering over dinner and watching the stars come out and the moon rise over the mountains. This place has a million dollar view and virtually no light pollution!
Even better, it comes with a private swimming hole and a big pebble beach a short walk from the yurt.
The whole set up is perfect for a romantic retreat but is was also ideal for our stay which included friends and kids.
This yurt is not just a place to stay, it is a destination in itself!
