Site 7 Creekside (site F)
We spent a few nights at the campsite while we explored the OHV trails and downhill mountain bike course at Windrock. The thought of tent camping in one of the huge gravel parking lots surrounded by throngs of people and the rattle of RV generators at one of the large campgrounds in the area held no appeal. This spot was peaceful and quiet, just what we were looking for. Extra bonus points for the burbling creek, the amazing assortment of birds that flew around us in the mornings, and quick and easy access to the trails. No conveniences at the site but $3.00 will buy you a shower at the Windrock Campground, and possibly other campgrounds around.

Lovely spot, and as advertised. Tricky to find, as the street numbering seems 'wrong' and when I went there was no sign. Helpful and friendly neighbor pointed me the right way. A 4WD vehicle is likely necessary to get there, especially if it's been raining.

Perfect spot for a group. Plenty of wide open space that’s nestled back in the woods overlooking the creek. Everything was clean and very well maintained.

Camping with overland rigs and dogs

Site 7 Creekside (site F)
We stayed at Campsite F with a group of 4 and 2 dogs. It was big enough for 4 Jeeps, and 3 overland trailers. Camp spot F has a creek access which was perfect for the dogs to play in. Finding the place was a little tricky and you have to cut through someone's driveway and backyard. It didn't bother us but idk how they feel about people going in and out throughout the night. All the camp spots are secluded and private from the residence. You cannot see or hear them from the camp spot. Overall I would camp there again. It is only 10 min from the Windrock general store, private, quiet, creek access, animal friendly.
