Relaxation for your soul.
This place was so peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. Exactly what we needed for a fall weekend escape. John & Linda who are amazing hosts have prepared 2 amazing sites. The bathroom is an amazing bonus. Gracie the official mascot (John & Lindas beagle) was a joy to hang out. Do yourself a favor and book this site. I will be back. PS- Next time John i expect you to join me for some coffee around the fire.

What an amazing campsite! It was beautiful, quiet, clean, and peaceful. There was a small trail that went around the property and we followed the creek down a bit for some more waterfalls and pretty views. The neighbors cows came along ever so often to check in on us which was entertaining and hilarious, they had us all laughing. Would recommend having 4WD to get to the site. There is also a little outhouse on top of the hill, which was really nice and clean. Linda and John were outstanding hosts and very accommodating. It was a great find and highly recommend. Looking forward to another trip back!

Linda's place was great! She and her husband came out to meet us as soon as we arrived and gave us the lay of the land. No one had booked the other site for the night we were there, so we had the option of either site. Site 2 is down by the waterfall, and honestly is the one to choose. But we were in a minivan and opted not to test it (it's kindof a steep and rocky road - they recommend 4WD). Site 1 (top of the hill) offers plenty of room. You can see a barn and hear cows and roosters but it still feels secluded enough. Both sites have a fire pit and table. The bath house is nicer than expected. We'd love to return, with a 4WD vehicle so we can camp by the waterfall.

Perfect little get away
Loved tent camping here next to the waterfall. The waterfall was bigger than I was expecting! Very private, nice area to get away for a few days. We drove to Tim’s Ford lake and did some hiking there since there weren’t trails on site. The campsite has a great restroom with hot shower if you need it. Only con was that across the creek there is a pathway that cows walk through. One day we just saw one and our dogs barked and it for about 20 mins and then our last morning at about 5:45am about 50 cows walked by. They took about 30 mins to pass & were mooing the whole time. But we would still go back only heard/saw the cows for 50 mins total throughout our whole 3 day stay.

Linda and John took the time to show me around and explained the details needed to have a smooth stay. The communication was great. They were very welcoming.

We had a great time at the campsite! The spot by the waterfall is wonderfully shady and the waterfall sound is so soothing. Our hosts could not have been easier to deal with and I can tell they’d go the extra mile if there were any issues. Would stay here again!
