I was not able to find the place. I tried reaching out to the hostess, but 24 hours later I still have not heard anything. After a little while, I did leave another message saying I had decided to go home (5 hour drive), so maybe she thought reaching out wasn't necessary.

Had such an amazing time! wish we could have stayed longer to try out the wood fired sauna. If you are looking for a place to escape the crowd and crazy world this is the place to go! Very quiet and cozy, we will be returning hopefully soon to try out the mini cabins

My pup & I had a lovely night at the Casperâs woods site. The private bathroom with shower was such a plus, and it was very clean and worked well. I also loved the on site laundry room and little market. Would definitely recommend & would stay again if in the area again.

Mixed feelings here. Bathroom was fabulous and clean. If the camper beyond the site is rented, seems like the potential for a lot of traffic and the road is right beside your tent. Directions listed here are not sufficient. I texted and she responded about 15 minutes later (not a big deal, but I had already spent 10 minutes driving around the place trying to find the site). The name on the site is not the same as on here, no directional signs to this name, nothing. I suggest contacting them BEFORE your trip for directions because you can't just 'head direct to the site'. There is a road directly above you and quite a few vehicles coming and going...
It was quiet otherwise. No grassy area, just kind of the side of a gravel road. Impossible to stake the tent because of the large gravel, but I could at least tie down. The shelter is very nice. Clean grounds. The Peace Pagoda on top of the mountain is amazing.
Just an awkward experience for me, but I wouldn't rule out a future trip knowing what to expect.

Fantastic campsite! The setting is beautiful, with clean, well-maintained facilities. Would recommend 4x4 and small camper only though. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thereâs a perfect balance of nature and convenience, with easy access to Peace Pagoda and scenic views right from the campsite. This spot is ideal for a peaceful getaway or a family-friendly adventure. We loved our stay and will definitely be returning!â

Great location and lovely little camp sites on the top of a mountain, ended up meeting the camp host and had a good convo. During our convo Yogi the bear visited and it sounds like its a normal thing. I asked if my bear proof boxes were okay and stated they should be fine. Well at 1:30am I heard one of them being messed with and the bear ended up taking my box down the hill. He worked on that box until about 5:30am when he was able to finally pull the aluminum box apart to get to the contents. I did call the contact number at 1:30 for some assistance as I didnt want the bear to learn that campsites have food but never got a call back during the morning or at all. Future guests need to be bear aware and lock things down and maybe the camp host could install bear boxes as it seems this bear knows to go through campsites.

We loved staying here! The campsite was lovely and the bathroom and shower worked well and super clean. Everyone was super friendly including one of the owners that lived next door to us. We had the pleasure of meeting 3 kittens, a hound dog named Mimi, and thankfully no bears( but we did hear them though!). Taking a trip up to the peace pagoda is definitely worth it, the views are stunning and the pagoda itself is awesome, the community and monk work very hard to build and maintain it. We will definitely be visiting again!

Overall it was good for what we needed but the road up to the campsite was quite difficult to navigate in some spots with a camper. We had a small boondocks tear drop designed for off road pulled with a bronco and it was difficult. The electrical was not sufficient to run our unit and the bath house. Another outlet is needed. Lastly there is bear activity in the area which I know the owner can't control but should be a consideration. There was no bear proof garbage bin and it attracted them. Lastly the spot has limited room for set up as you are right off the road area.

I loved the covered area we had. It was very large and it really came in handy. There was a storm that came through that produced a little bit of hail and the space was large enough to fit our Pop-Up camper and my wifeâs new Toyota Highlander to protect it. And having the private bathroom and shower space was nice as well. It was really clean and the owners were very helpful and responsive. We had the pleasure of meeting Venus as he drove around checking on all the campers. And being able to walk up to the Peace Pagoda was incredible!
If I could give any advice it would be that in order to hook your power up, you must disconnect the bathroom power and just run a drop chord from your camper to it. We were able to run the water heater in the bathroom with our campers power supply as long as we didnât have the AC going. And also, make sure you bring a 30 amp extension chord just in case yours isnât long enough. We bought one from the Walmart 13 mins down the road. Also, be forewarned that itâs a steep drive up to the camping area and this site had a steep hill going down to it. Our Highlander was able to handle both the up and down with ease but it caught us off guard at first.
Overall, an awesome place. We will be back again!

I stayed on Tammyâs land for a month and loved it. I rented the van/RV spot and was very happy with my stay. Tammy and others were very helpful and attentive. The land is beautiful and secluded.

Beautiful site and friendly and helpful hostess. Loved our stay but it was VERY difficult to get in and out. Having said that, host and her brother were extremely helpful. There is no way we would have made it either in it out in our own. Definitely need 4WD to pull a trailer in or out. Very thankful for the hospitality and help from the host!

Another great stay at Stuetzâs Casper camp! Really enjoy the peace and quiet while still just a few minutes off the interstate. Also appreciated the new and improved firepit. The private bathroom with flush toilet and hot shower is a bonus especially to have it just feet from the campsite.

It was a great experience for a first time car camping trip for us. The little bathroom was a big help for us first time campers. We stayed at Casper and it rained all day on the second day, but the big roof actually covers all the way above the bathroom door so we didnât get wet going to the bathroom. Overall, we had a great time.

The Casper shelter was a great spot for my ground tent given that it is covered by a large metal roof, because it was raining when I arrived. Having a protected area to set up my Gazelle tent was super convenient, plus there was a picnic table and fire pit under roof as well. The term âouthouseâ belies the functionality and cleanliness of the on-site bathroom. It had a flushable toilet and clean shower with hot water and electricity and was under the same roof⌠steps away from my tent. Overall nice setup and just 10 minutes from the interstate.

The shower and toilet are AWESOME! Tammy was very kind and accommodating. Full transparency- the roads to and from the site are poorly maintained. We have a 4wd dodge Ram and 16ft camper and STRUGGLED to get down the initial hill to the site safely and fit on the road out (very narrow and small turn space). We even slid a little on the rocks, which is terrifying since your on a mountain. Definitely must have 4wd, and would not recommend anything larger than a small teardrop trailer behind. Also to note- the sewage hook up is in the middle of the site (so will be under your van/camper), if you have a van that sits closer to the ground you will not be able to reach it. Must have an extension cord to reach electric hookup (Tammy provided this for us which was kind!) and you will have to unplug your van/camper to plug in the shower and use it (they use the same outlet).
Overall, a good place to stay for camper vans that have 4wd!

We had a great night at Tammyâs with our first Hipcamp experience. Everyone there was extremely helpful from helping us get to our site to checking on us to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. The shower/toilet onsite was a huge bonus! There was everything we needed for a great nightâs stay. Weâll definitely stay here again when coming through this way!

I just stopped for a quick overnight on my way through. It was a convenient, safe space for me to park and sleep. Just a few minutes from interstate 40. She gave me great instructions and I was able to find my spot easily in the middle of the night. Donât be scared off by the steep-ish gravel down hill to the spot. There is a â2WDâ exit that is smoother going up. My little Hyundai Elantra made it just fine. You have your own private, spotless bathroom. I wasnât there long enough to take advantage of the shower or music barn. Thank you! I would stay again for sure!

The campsite was awesome! Everything is laid out nicely. The campsite with a camper looked incredible, I may need to go back to try it - plus I'd like to check out the Peace Pagoda. Loved the outhouse with real toilet and shower.
I had 2 issues, there was a large German Shepherd running around and he came to my campsite 3 different times and ran my dog and I inside our car. It was a little scary. No human in sight. The other issue was my own making, left my headlights on and killed my car battery - Tammy was very responsive and even sent her very nice neighbor to help me jump my car. I went straight to autozone and had it replaced.
I will happily stay there again - It was a perfect start to my vacation - we stopped there for 2 nights to break up our drive.

This spot was so peaceful and wonderful! The hosts were extremely kind, helpful and accommodating. Having a private bathhouse and shower was lovely. Some of the reviews mention getting there is tricky, and yes the dirt road down is quite steep, but as long as you take it slow going down you are fine. I have a Jeep and and old rebuilt Shasta camper and had no trouble. I highly recommend!

Located within a beautiful retreat space with other cabins, this is a must spot.
There is a spring fed pond, that is extremely refreshing to jump in to and fun for our son who would catch tadpoles. The music barn is set up with snacks and food which you pay for with the honor jam. The whole place has a special charm. Tammy and her brothers showed us what southern hospitality looks like.
There was a hottub and sauna for anyone looking for some extra relaxation.
Our Toyota Tundra and 20ft camper didn't have a problem getting into the spot.
We'll be back!

We had a great time with our dogs tent camping under the awning of the site. It was one of the dogs first time, so we had all we needed and more for him to be comfortable on his first adventure. Any question I had was answered within a few minuets, which was extremely impressive. Also got visited by a sweet big ol black Lab! We loved him and wish we stayed longer to get more visits.

The location of the camp site is beautiful and very secluded. We loved having cover for our camper and a toilet and shower right there as well. Tammy was super responsive and great to work with. Our one reservation was getting in and out of the property. The grade of the roads leading in and out were VERY steep and were difficult for our AWD SUV to pull our 22ft. camper to the site. The roads were also very narrow which added to the difficulty of access. We would suggest 4WD trucks and campers on the smaller side use this space.
