Carey and her husband were super nice, it had been raining for two days so the ground was drenched and I had a tent (and my dog) so I almost cancelled at the last minute to stay in a hotel, but they graciously offered to let me set up in one of their unfinished cabins which ended up being perfect! It was a great experience, my only regret is that I went to sleep right away and woke up early to get back on the road so I couldn't explore the awesome site or get to know my hosts, but if you're ever in the area and looking for a great campsite head their way!!

Great little camping spot for a quick stay! Host was gracious, helpful and very accommodating. Let us pick whichever spot we wanted. Wildlife all around was very nice, as was the nearby creek. Only downfall was the campsite is sandwiched between two roads, one being a highway so it is a little noisy. All in all it was good for a quick stay.

Any camper's dream: camp near the white noise of the river, take a shower in the shower house, pick your own area to set up camp, wander around their beautiful land (even has the historic Trail of Tears running through their campgrounds). The hosts are truly friendly, with an awesome story of downsizing and living simply. They incorporate community meals and hangouts in which campers should feel free to join in or take privacy. They have lots of awesome projects coming along as well. Couldn't recommend this more.

Sweet Simplicity on Pikes Peak - 2cde
Casey was great! Especially after we arrived well after dark due to car trouble, he still took the time to show us around and chat for a while. Our campsite was right next to a little sluceway/waterfall which made for great ambiance and calming background noise for sleeping.
It's a charming little camp, and we would definitely recommend staying here ☺️👍
