Loved camping here, it was great for my almost 4yo as well as my 1 yo. The grounds keeper was super nice and camp sites were clean. Trains were not too bad and we really didn't mind the noise. If you're a light sleeper I would recommend ear plugs. Would come back!

Audubon Acres is an amazing place to camp or just visit for the day. Check-in was my favorite kind, hassel free! The campsite was very nice, equiped with a large fire pit and picnic table. After setting up the tent, there was still more than enough room for hammocks, another tent, or kayaks. Oh, did i mention that the South Chick is only 200 yards from the campsite?
The trails are well maintained and easily accessible from the site and well marked. Love this place.

Beautiful setting and great trails. The train passing so close to camp every 2 hours overnight made it not an ideal camp spot unfortunately. Will continue to visit during the day but would not recommend camping as it is.

We got rained out of Bonnaroo and made last minute weekend plans in TN. We had a wonderful time camping in the Clover Camp. There were lots of cool critters to spot, and the groundskeepers do a lovely job. It is a short drive to the city, but there are also a good couple days worth of trails to explore on the property that give you lots of cool notes about the history there as you walk. It is very close to an active train track but it did not keep us up during sleeping hours, and we honestly didn't mind it at all. It adds to the charm. It was so beautiful it was hard to stay sad about our canceled plans. We will certainly be planning a trip back.

The workers were nice! The spot is very easy to get to and well kept. Parking was a breeze. And the bathrooms were great to have close-by, especially since we had children with us. They had a blast being able to play in the clearing and explore the grounds. Now I was a little disappointed with the quality of firewood that we paid to have ready for us, not a huge deal, but the wood that was left for us was wet and rotten. I think if I were to stay again, I would definitely bring my own firewood. Now unfortunately, I probably won’t be interested in staying again, because of the train that runs through Audubon Acres. It was LOUD. And runs about every 3 hours. Obviously that’s a given, trains are loud, I get it and it was mentioned on the page when we booked it. So that doesn’t really affect my review of the quality of the campground. If it wasn’t for the train waking us up multiple times at night, we would most definitely stay here again. We love the grounds and appreciate everything that the Chattanooga Audubon Society does!

This site needs serious improvements if not removed from this app. It felt like staying in a graveyard and the constant passing loud train noise scared the hell out of us all night. The sites are in the middle of a jungle, full of bugs, was all muddy. WiFi was advertised but it was not available. This is the worst place we ever stayed. Would not recommend it at all.

My big family tent camped and hammocked at Camp Clover. There was plenty of trees for us to hang up our hammocks. It was convenient that firewood was ready for us at our site. Would suggest just a grill over the firepit to make it easier to cook things over the fire. Being a small camp with only three camping sites, it wasn't loud and busy with other campers like those other big campsites.
There were lots of nature trails and historical sites you can explore here. We got to see the reenactment of Lexington Concord too. Would recommend camping here! 🙃

My family and I camped here over the weekend and had an amazing time. This is a beautifully maintained nature preserve that has a very special and comfortable feel. The are many trails that are well maintained with varying difficulties, but almost all are easy enough for our kiddos (1 & 3y/o) to enjoy too. The campsite was clean and close to hiking trails with a bathroom a tidy bathroom nearby. The staff are all very kind, helpful, and quick to respond. We love this place and highly recommend anyone to check it out!
