I am mixed on this place. The hosts were great - very friendly and accommodating. We had fun chatting with them. The site was also convenient to the track and local stores. Going into the trip, I knew I would be surrounded by RV’s so I wasn’t concerned or annoyed with that situation. However, we arrived and soon found out the spot we reserved was being used as an overflow space for construction materials and another camper’s trailer. Seriously? The spot I reserved had shade, which I picked specifically for my setup. The camp ground was packed, but the host found a spot for us. It was almost a nightmare. I shouldn’t be relieved to know there’s a spot for me when I reserved and paid in advance... When we got to the space we began to set up our tent and soon found several piles of dog poop all over the place. This is not 100% the hosts fault, but it gives you an idea of the inconsiderate people around us. More, fresh, dog crap was seen the following days (again, not on the host, but other jerks at the park). One tiny bathroom/shower with one toilet was available 24/7 but was overused to put it nicely (hosts are upgrading facilities). Overall, this place has a lot of potential and the new owners will be successful - it will take some time but I might go back in a few years. When you look at it for what it is - an RV park at Bristol - it’s not bad…but it could have been a better experience notwithstanding the hosts effort.
