40 acres Located in beautiful Dover TN 5 miles from Lake Barkley & the Cumberland River. Conveniently located a few miles from town, far enough that it is quiet, but close enough that it is not a long trip to town. The property features a variety of thriving wildlife due to our fresh water stream that gently flows through the property year round. The stream is roughly ankle to hip deep depending on the area. The water is crystal clear and safe to play in if you have little ones. Walk along the stream and discover all kinds of fish, turtles, beautiful river stones and possibly see a beaver or 2. If you have Archery equipment, you can use our Archery Range. The property is split by a 2 lane road. 7 acres to the North and 33 acres to the South. The smaller side is flat with many trails, fresh water stream and a gravel road. It features relatively junior trees and is home to a family of Whitetail Deer. The Southern side of the property features a mature hardwood forest full of giant white oak trees. Be sure to put on your hiking boots though, because there's a few Hills to climb. Three hills that form a beautiful valley in the center, with another fresh waterstream. The valley was once home to a 1700s settlement, so you may find some artifacts. (We just ask that you leave them where you find them.) Main trails are marked clearly with large reflectors for safety. With the near-by wildlife refuge you are sure to see and hear a variety of wildlife. We have large steel firepits in every campsite. So feel free to bring your own firewood! Enjoy a good book or nap while relaxing in a hammock. Swing with a loved one while over looking the fresh water stream. Walk down along the stream and collect rocks, feed the fish, or go for a dip! Currently our property is very Primative, whichever there is no electricity or plumbing. We do offer clean composting toilets & a locking gate at night for your security. **Cellular service is limited in some areas. Signal can be found by the road, or cross the road and take the trail up the 1st hill**

Creekside site is located a few feet from the Waters edge. The site is clear of heavy vegetation and perfect for a couple or small family with a RV or Travel Trailer. Listen to gentle flowing water and relax with your kids play in the shallow water. The Tent site is just off the trail, so you will have to carry your things roughly 20 feet to the site. There is a firepit available for burning firewood only. Just across the creek is a goat farm. 🐐 There is a private driveway that is visible in the fall and winter. So guests may see a few cars throughout the day. Our property is in a valley that is home to a wide variety of wildlife. Depending on the year you will hear and possibly see all kinds of animals from deer, owls, raccoons, we do have beavers on the property (specifically near the the water) and lastly Coyotes do inhabit the hills. So you will hear them later in the evening. ** As the sun begins to set, guests may hear dogs barking from the adjacent property. They typically settle down once it's dark**

This site is our largest we offer, located in the Southern corner of the property. 20-30' away from the stream. Flat open area perfect for a large family with a travel trailer or 3-4 tents. The area is surrounded by trees for privacy, but open enough to see the stars clearly at night in our clear night sky.

Absolutely beautiful property and perfectly peaceful. The sites were very spacious. The ground is pretty much all creek bed and rock so wear sturdy shoes and plan to bring your own toilet solution. There’s a camp toilet sitting over a pit but it’s not what most are used to or prefer. 10/10 would recommend and will be booking several more times.

Beautiful piece of land. We had the whole place to ourselves. Stream was relaxing to hear throughout the night, mosquitoes sucked but it was bearable with a candle repellent. Walked along the stream for about a half mile and started seeing some crazy stuff, we didn’t realize we were off property. So be mindful of that. There is about 30 acres across the stream that you can explore. Poop but was riddle with spiders, but again nothing we couldn’t handle. Felt very safe as well.

Hosts are very nice people. Laid a pile of wood for us next to the fire pit. Very quiet, creek right next to our spot, tons of tree coverage for shade. It rained and all the trees helped keep it off of us. The only thing is lots of ticks from all the trees so be armed. LOL Also wish the pit was more center of the spot and it's a tad difficult to locate. It's very beautiful tho and very much worth the price.

Tent camping here for the second time with my friends. This is our new go to spot, very private and plenty of woods for firewood. Robert is also a great host and keeps this land in great shape.

This spot was the PERFECT spot for camping! We had a tent setup and there were plenty of flat places to put the tent plus plenty of parking. The creek view was beautiful and easy to walk down to. The property is beautiful, clean and Bobby has a ton of cool ideas for it! If you’re ever in the area, make sure you book!

Creekside campsite couldn’t have been more perfect! It was just a little less quiet than I anticipated given the nearby road and kiddos running around the campground. But it’s certainly not enough to take away from the beauty of the scenery. Will hopefully be staying here again! PS: try the local coffee shop “Cattle & Bakes!” Friendly, affordable, and delicious!

Our host was very responsive! This little spot was just what we needed. We were able to secure our reservation instantly. Our host had wood available for us to use and the road through the campsites was very level and clearly marked. The wildlife here is amazing!! We went to sleep listening to the owls and woke up to the crows calling. It was peaceful and the creek was beautiful! There are roads on either side of the site but it wasn’t a bother at all. We were wakened at one point by a home nearby with their music jamming at around 1:00 am. But hey.. who doesn’t like Red Hot Chili Peppers!! 😊

My husband and I LOVED staying here. The sites were very well kept, he had lots of free firewood there for us which was amazing. The sites felt very primitive and secluded but still safe. This was by far our favorite campsite to date!

Absolutely beautiful creek with cold water and plenty of creatures to admire. There was no one else there while we camped so it was peaceful in that aspect. There is a farm nearby with roosters and sheep that you can hear (in case that bothers you). All in all it was a good space to camp without the busyness of a state park. Thanks!

Loved tent camping on Roberts land. He has everything you need for a great time with nature, toilet, metal fire pits, plenty of trees, serene creek and best part is- no one is around to bother you! Definitely recommend it.
