Inglewood is a 130-acre property currently running beef cattle and sheep. The property has 15 acres of remnant stringy bark scrub which abuts the Heysen Trail. This private campsite is contained within the scrub although campers have access to the whole property. There are 11 bespoke sites available but only 8 sites are offered at any one time so campers can have their privacy. The whole campsite can be hired exclusively for large groups - contact me direct for booking details and costs. A wood package can be purchased for $50 the communal fire circle. We offer sites suitable for camper trailers, campervans, cars, rooftop tents, tents and swags (sorry, no large caravans). During the non fire ban period all fires must be contained in the fire pits provided. Some firewood is supplied for you. Please bring firewood if you intend to have a campfire for an extended period. A communal camp kitchen, barbecue, rain water and tables available. A composting toilet is available as is a solar and rocket shower system. Colloquially known as God's Country the property is conveniently located 1hr 20 mins from Adelaide, 14 mins from Victor Harbor, and 20 mins from Pt Elliot, Middleton, Waitpinga and Parson's beach, Hindmarsh Falls and Normanville. Other nearby localities are Deep Creek National Park, Newland Conservation Park, Springmount National Park, Granite Island and the Kangaroo Island ferry. The popular Belicious Belgium Cafe is a 60 min walk or 5 minute drive from the campsite. Walkers on the Heysen trail can access the campsite 100 metres away. Please note that the campsite has a no noise/music policy after 9pm The Scrub Campsite was honored to have won 1st place for best campsite in South Australia for 2024. Damview Site 2

Amazing time had by all

Had an amazing weekend away over Easter weekend at the scrub campsite. Including a 80s dress up murder mystery party. Wonderful time had by all. Mark was amazing and so helpful with all the logistics for our large group.

Nice bush setting.

The Scrub has a good variety of sites. They're spaced well so it isn't cramped. The bush setting makes it very pleasant and gives good shelter from wind. And Mark is a very friendly host.

Secluded scrub camp-site protected from the wind. Plenty of sports equipment available to keep the kids busy, lots of birds and a few critters.

Damview Site 2

Went tent camping here on a whim. Greeted on arrival by what I assume was an employee / resident who after ensuring I'd paid and wasn't stealing the pitch, told me where the amenities were and explained the chip heater hand shower etc. Didn't use the amenities. Reasonably quiet. Great scenery and drive in. Close to all the local sights and attractions without being in it. Will be back in the winter for a fire!

Damview Site 2

An excellent setup

We stayed at Dam view site 1 which was perfect for our 15ft hybrid. Mark has done a great job with the layout and the rustic camp kitchen including a composting toilet and shower. There's plenty of activities for children. If staying in sites 5-11 or the 2 dam view sites, it's easier to turn right before the 2nd gate and follow the path to dam.

Weekender

Great sites for camping, with a table and chairs and a contained fire pit to each site. Sites are very spaced out so it's great to have good privacy. There is a communal gathering area and camp kitchen Donkey shower and long drop loos. Or bring your own
