Notice: We are currently dealing with an issue with our local council which is proving onerous to resolve. As a result we have had to temporarily cease taking bookings. We hope to reopen before too long but the issue will undoubtedly take some months to resolve. We apologise for the inconvenience. A 22 acre ‘lifestyle block’ in the Adelaide Hills managed by a professional couple who have taken a sea change. Della Foresta Farm is nestled in the Adelaide Hills south of the city, on the edge of the McLaren Vale wine district and the Fleurieu Peninsula and adjacent to the extensive Kuitpo forest with its walking and riding trails, including the famous Heysen trail. The owners are committed to securing the future of a few rare breeds of livestock, initially focussing on chooks and Nadudana cattle which you will see roaming the paddocks adjacent to the site. Della Foresta Farm also has a small orchard, a nuttery and a large veggie garden. Josie produces organically grown veggies and is developing a range of produce under the label of ‘Josie’s Pantry.’ Some farm produce is generally available at the farm gate or on request. We have three very slightly sloping sites cleared for tents or vans far enough apart that privacy can be retained. Pets are welcome but must be under control at all times to protect the resident wildlife. The reserve area is expected to can become waterlogged for a period during winter and when this happens we will have to close the site temporarily. Thus bookings during the winter months cannot be guaranteed and we will block bookings for this period when we know the site is waterlogged. with apologies for any inconvenience.

What a lovely spot! Plenty of room and you're surrounded by beautiful gum trees. Josie has done a wonderful job creating the different campsites. She is the warmest host - we had a great chat about her farm, family, travel and life. Josie and her campsite and the reasons I love travelling and Hipcamp so much. I highly recommend you stay here! The bathroom is super clean too.
