Escape to our patch of Tiaro conveniently located on the Bruce highway. Perfect for a travel stopover or a few days getaway. Relax, recharge, and escape the daily grind on our beautiful 19 acres. Featuring a dam and large mostly level tree shaded campsites, male and female toilet block, and fire pits. Bring the bikes and ride around on our purpose built track. We keep our sites limited so our valued visitors can have lots of space and we preserve the getaway from the rat race experience. Easy drive as we are located right on the Bruce highway which is the perfect spot so you can just chill and relax on a night stopover or for a few days…. the country charm will get you! Keep an eye out for the beautiful native wildlife …. Kangaroos, possums, a variety of birds and maybe even a rabbit or two. Bonus…at night enjoy the show as the trucks pass by with all their lights on display showing through the trees (yes you can hear them but not intrusive)it adds to the charm and the vibe. Clear skies with stars by the thousands, find your constellations whilst visiting. Tiaro main street is only 3 mins away by car and is home to the well-known Tiaro butcher and the Tiaro Christmas Cottage. Maryborough 20 mins and Gympie 40 mins. Perfect position to base and explore from. More and more features and facilities are being added slowly so keep an eye out! On the plans are showers, special event nights, projector screen movies, kids playground, outdoor kitchen, and picnic table areas…… No powered sites but we have a power point in the toilet block for device charging.. The toilet block has filtered tank water which you can use if needed. (20 litres or more please see owner)

Campsite 3

Weekend Camp

TLC was well signed on the highway, only about 2 klm south of Tiaro. On arrival Willy & Pete were welcoming and friendly, with Pete helping us to our site. We requested close to the dam and toilets. Which I will say every site is close. The toilets were great. All flushing with sink, soap & paper towels. They were cleaned everyday. There was also power if you needed to quickly charge your phone. I had full phone / internet coverage with Optus. We had a load of wood delivered to the site and it was great value and good wood- burnt well - way better than your brought firewood at the servo. TLC is new a new camp and they have great plans for the future- I wish them all the best.

Fantastic spot very clean and presentable Pete was so helpful, supplied us with firewood. Great bicycle track for the kids, it rained while we were there and the sites drain off really good towards the dam. Phone coverage was excellent. Would recommend TLC to anyone.

We took our camper van to TLC and the area and grounds are lovely! Everything is well maintained and Pete has a great vision for the place and is passionate about what he is creating. There are so many lovely details from the rock gardens, logs and beautiful tree where the birds come to feed. The toilets were super clean and easy access to running water (non-potable) for washing hands & doing dishes. The camping area is nice & flat, brilliant fire pits and it was great to be able to grab some sticks and logs and kindling for the fire when our wood ran out! The road noise is the elephant in the room though and the highway is a lot closer than I thought it would be. That being said, if you are used to road noise then it may not bother you. Pete is an excellent and accommodating host and we truly wish him & the family well with their continued setup, he’s done so much hard work and there is more to come.

Beautiful place to camp... Has a nice little dam you can over look with a fire. Owners are absolutely awesome, friendly and accommodating. Beautiful little piece of paradise.

Overnight Stay at TLC

Brand new property. Although close to the highway, the road noise was in no way intrusive at night. The grounds are beautifully maintained with a dam and firepits which are ready for you to fire up when you arrive. The camp sites are spacious with plenty of room. Would definitely recommend staying at TLC. We will definitely be back. Thank you Peter and Renee for opening up your property for us to use. Good luck with your future plans for the site.

Good vibes only

Thanks so much Peter, Renee, Ashley and Willy for being such welcoming and friendly hosts! Stoked to be your 2nd ever hipcamp guest! Loved my 2 nights in my van in your natural bushland setting, overlooking the dam and watching the ducklings' antics and black cockatoos flying overhead. Thanks again for the free firewood and rescuing me (twice) from getting bogged. The plumbed toilets are a huge bonus and you should be super proud of the beautiful nature-filled space you've created. Thanks again and wish you all the best for your future plans!
