170 acres of paradise located in Tarome, just 8 minutes from Aratula and the Cunningham Highway. The campsite is best suited to those chasing a quiet, private area to enjoy the best of nature along with unbelievable mountain views. The property is the home base for a grass fed beef business with a sustainable focus so whilst you will share with some beautiful cows and calves, the secluded(and fenced off!) campsite is private and serene. Tarome offers some of the best views of the Main Range and Cunninghams Gap, all of which you can enjoy from the site. The sunsets here are spectacular. The Warrill Creek runs through the property, adjacent to the campsite and is home to an abundance of wildlife and vegetation all of which you are welcome to explore. The creek runs seasonally and makes a beautiful swimming area, but is just as enjoyable when dry allowing for a great path to explore the area. The site is only a short drive off the main road so the property offers an ideal spot for short stopovers, or alternatively use it as a base to explore the rest of the Scenic Rim. The abundance of walking, hiking, fishing or biking opportunities in the area are endless, or if you are more into relaxing into some food tasting and wineries then you’ve hit the jackpot. Just an hour and a half from Brisbane CBD! In lieu of camping with nature there are no amenities and limited service with some providers, but if you are chasing something in particular please let us know. We are happy to help. Great little spot perfect for a group and the site is large enough to accommodate. Fire pits ready to go. Creek to explore, would be perfect for a close weekend getaway in summer. Hosts were friendly and easy going. would highly recommend.

A wonderful bush setting!
We absolutely loved staying at this location! It was exactly what we were hoping for… cows, birds, kangaroos, fresh air, peace & quiet. We even saw a brown snake and a baby bearded dragon. It’s the perfect bush setting with wonderful hosts who make you feel welcome. If we could visit every weekend we would but work gets in the way! Thank you for opening up your property.

Birthday weekend
Beautiful spot with lovely views all around. Large sites and generous supply of firewood. Creek was beautiful for swimming too. A few flies around but they weren’t too annoying. We will definitely be back, such an easy drive from Brisbane. Thank you ☺️

This is a lovely spot to camp quiet secluded with great views of surrounding mountains, the sounds of cattle lowing and the abundant bird life was quiet relaxing. My only negative would be that the grass was rather long and getting to the creek was a miss for us as it was too over grown
