Nestled between mountains and lakes, Mountain View is a stunning destination for anyone looking to get out of the city. Located barely an hour out of Brisbane, this property boasts a number of private and secluded campgrounds. Take a walk across the 170 acres of forest or kick back to soak up the gorgeous views of the majestic Border Ranges. With the rugged beauty comes some challenging terrain. You will need a 4WD or you can hike in a short distance to find a perfect spot. At this point we are only accepting self-contained guests as the ammenities are yet to be installed.

Scrub Hideaway
Great little spot at Scrub Hideaway. We felt completely isolated and it was really peaceful. Matt was also really helpful on the phone with directions into the property and we knew we could contact him throughout the weekend if needed.

Ollie's Fort
Ollies Hut
We had a lovely long weekend at Ollies Hut… Great views, & plenty of fire wood… Really easy to access. Lots to do around the area. Matt was great with communication.

Base Camp
Perfect location between Boonah & Mt Alford & Lake Moogerah. Matt is a wonderful host. Base camp had great facilities. A full shed with a little bathroom, shower and toilet and a kitchen to yourself. Queen bed & bunk bed if needed. Perfect for shelter for the hit and miss rain we got. Big open area, gorgeous views. Some friendly animals around as neighbours. I would love to come back soon!

Summit View
Summit View is one of the all time camp spot - lots of room, big fire pit and you couldn’t get much better views of the Scenic Rim! Matt was a great host as well!
