Kenilworth Rural Camping is a quiet, family friendly private camping area in the heart of Kenilworth, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Adjacent to the Charles Street Mary River parklands, this 5 acre block has beautiful drive through, flat grassy sites. Shady or open spaces with a seasonal water hole on the property, 150mtrs from the Mary River, through the park or a 5 minute walk to town (600mtrs to the pub!). We have 5 camping sites, each suitable to any size caravans, campers, tents etc. Each site has the capacity to fit 3 caravans or equivalent and up to 10 guests. Fire pits at all sites. Please note we do not have amenities or drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient with your own toilet/shower set up and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste. Please do not book if you do not have your own toilet. Please , nothing is to be burnt in the firepits other than firewood. No glass bottles or can's at all. Dogs must be on a leash at ALL times and must be cleaned up after. Family Group bookings welcome! Strictly no party groups. *All guests must be added to the booking request. Children under 12 are free but please ensure you include them in with the booking request. *The Mary River, and the water hole water levels are determined on rain fall.*

Site 1 - Kenilworth Rural Camping

Great spot.

5 campsites all spread out. We stayed in Site 1 and it was lovely. Flat grassed area. Easy walk to town.

Site 5 - Kenilworth Rural Camping

We stayed at site 5 which had 2 fire pits depending on which end of the site you set up on. Huge area. It was facing towards the Mary river which was a 2 minute walk from our site. Our golden retriever had the best time swimming there every morning. It is in walking distance to shops and pub and restaurants. Beautiful and quiet. Shane and Kim came and greeted us when we arrived which was lovely. So nice we have booked for Xmas!!

Site 3 - Kenilworth Rural Camping

We had seen Kenilworth Rural Camping on youtube channels and marked it as a destination for the Sunshine Coast and hinterland. It really is a beautiful, peaceful paddock to rest up for a few days. Site 3 is our pick surrounded by overhanging trees for seclusion and also open to the paddock for plenty of sunshine and solar regeneration depending on how you position the caravan. The sites are huge with no risk of anyone around. A stroll into the main street will bring you to the infamous bakery for the yummy, yummy donuts. The showground is only two minutes away if you need the dump point, refill of water or the use of the showers. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly with no problems with booking and correspondence. We'll be back when next passing through. Thank you for our stay.

Very close to town. Very large sites. All but one site was occupied while we were there and there was heaps of distance between setups.
