Kenilworth Rural Camping

We’ve camped here a couple of times now and will definitely be back again!! We love the location, a short stroll to the main street of Kenilworth and the beautiful Mary river. Beautifully kept property with private camping spots makes this a must for your next camping trip.

We all loved our 5 night caravan stay. Close to river walks and town when we needed anything. Shane came to say hello and check all was ok which was nice. Will be back again.

Loved it. Great location and fabulous grassy site. Trees to hang a hammock and so much room for the kids. :) Short walk to the creek which is also an awesome play space for the kids. We'll be back for sure :)

Just Terrific

Our group of 10, ranging from Grandma through to daughters and 5 grandkids had a wonderful time here. We felt very safe and loved how much room we had. Just a few minutes to the riverbank where the kids felt safe to swim (in winter!) fish and float on their tubes. Then at lunch time, just a few minutes to town for a pie, sausage roll or donut. This spot is the best of both worlds - quiet country camping with walks, swims and beautiful scenery and the convenience of the Kenilworth township just a few mins away. Kids are desperate to go back.

Beautiful spot, amazing grounds. Close to the action in town - 5min walk to the dairy and bakery. Well setup camp fire rings and areas. Would recommend whilst you can find some wood, bring some 👌

Site 4 - Kenilworth Rural Camping

We really enjoyed our stay at camp site 1. Plenty of space and well maintained, with morning sun and shade in the late afternoon from the trees along the creek. Site 1 has a really nice outlook with the creek right in front. Other campsites are well spaced out so feels very private. Short walk into town, plus a short walk down to the river which is very pretty and a great spot for the kids to play. Would highly recommend to others.

This was our second stay here, and it was just as good as the first. Perfect location: close enough to town to grab a sausage roll and a doughnut, but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet, and a short stroll down to the river. Thanks Shane, we really appreciate you allowing us to share this wonderful location.

Great spot for many reasons. Just five camping spots in such a huge area means plenty of privacy. The grass is so well tended it's like being on a golfing fairway. Kenilworth is a ten minute walk back up the track. Highly recommend, this is an absolutely fantastic place and we'll be back.

Our first ever free camp, and our first trip in our new van. Beautiful, quiet location. Only a few minutes walk to town and Id imagine in summer the creek would be lovely for a swim. Appreciated that Shane was able to accommodate us an hour early too.

Camps sites are well set out, and a good distance apart. We loved our stay once again. Grounds are very well kept. Shane is a great host. We will definitely be back. This has become one of our favourite camping spots

Best camping!

We love camping at Shane’s property at Kenilworth. Lovely mown paddock fully fenced and safe and right next to the Mary River. 5 min stroll with our little moodle to the dairy for a coffee and to stock up on cheese or pick up a yummy donut at the bakery. Shane is a wonderful host and has a beautiful property. We are already planning our next trip! Thank you Shane for making your property available for others to share in its beauty.

Site 4 - Kenilworth Rural Camping

Huge sites, great for a quiet weekend as a couple or a large group. It's a field and nothing else, but that's what you are booking. We loved it and so did the dogs. Just don't forget the toilet. It's a long walk up the road to a public one. We will be back.

Our new favorite spot by far. Such a lovely little drive down the lane to a beautiful lush green property. All lovely big spacious sites. Fire pits at each site. A short walk down to the river and into town. We walked down for a pizza and highly recommend the pizza place. Short walk to the pub for cold beers and a feed. We will definitely be back. Lovely to meet you Shane thank you for sharing your property.
