Greenstone
Absolutely magical is definitely the way to describe this place and its hidden beauties! My friend group and I had a wonderful stay here! Angus is such a generous host and makes sure everything is okay! My only recommendation to future camper would be to make sure all your food is very well hidden, the pigs are quite clever and cheeky! We will definitely be back!

How spectacular
What a piece of paradise.
Our group were accommodated and welcomed by our host and given inside info on the walks, waterholes and waterfalls.
It was so wonderful swimming in the cool water during a hot Australia Day weekend. The rescue animals of all sorts were a bonus especially the cheeky pigs that visited our campsite!

Greenstone is magic!
We stayed at Greenstone over the Australia Day weekend - 2 adults, 2 kids (5 & 8) and what a beautiful place! We loved every part of our stay. We camped in the site Angus suggested would suit us which is called ‘The Beach’ it’s right on the creek, where the kids could play in shallow water and still be seen from camp. It was perfect too cool off in in the heat too. It has a lovely flat grassy section with a fenced area separating us from other campers (and the horses if you wish - but we loved having them in with us). The bigger swimming holes and waterfalls are some of the best we’ve seen in SE QLD - clear, cool and refreshing. They were flowing perfectly post recent rain. The kids loved jumping off the rocks and waterfalls and we enjoyed rock hopping up the creek. It was uncrowded, quiet and serene. You get to share the camp with Angus & Colette’s horses, pigs, dogs, and cows. We particularly loved Dotti the pig who thinks she’s a dog and Zeus the big pig. They are beautiful and come visit camp for a pat. The kids loved feeding and watching the horses, collecting eggs and patting the calves. There’s something very special about Greenstone and we can’t wait to come back again with friends to show them the magic too ✨. Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend Angus & Colette.

Greenstone
Private but soggy
Unfortunately, due to the high amount of rain that had fallen during the last few weeks, the property was very soggy and wet and we weren’t prepared to risk getting stuck as we have a heavy rig and van. As there was no service we couldn’t contact the owner and no one was at the house. The location seemed great but we didn’t see the sites.

Running rivers and farm animals
Greenstone was everything I needed and more!
Even with the weather a little iffy, it was perfect.
Listening to the running water while we slept, was heaven.
The grounds are home to rescue farm animals (which I didn't realise), and were all so relaxed around people. We had the most amazing visit from one of the pigs, who just wanted a scratch. Before exploring the property to find the rock pool and running rivers.
Despite horses, pigs, cows, sheep's and chooks (there may have been more) there was no smell and nothing that made me nervous. Let's be honest, I thought it might have been smelly and Im glad I was wrong!
I will be coming back and bringing the family. Thanks Angus, for welcoming us into your "home".

Highly recommend!
Our favourite campsite yet! Couldn’t recommend this spot highly enough
Angus was so welcoming and accommodating. All of the animals were so beautiful and friendly.
The setting is just perfect, so many beautiful sounds, a real reconnect with nature sort of place.
Super private and relaxing, couldn’t fault it at all 👌🏼
Already can’t wait to book our next trip here!
