Welcome to Barcy! Looking for a campsite where you can camp on your own or with just your friends? Want to learn more about wool growing and sheep grazing businesses? Want to see wildlife (eagles, brolgas, red kangaroos, echidnas) and livestock in their paddocks? Consider the self-drive tour. Walk the pet, light a fire at night and let the kids explore. Several sites have hot water for open air baths. Dunblane is a wool sheep grazing property located just off the Landsborough (Matilda) Highway 8km west of Barcaldine. We welcome guests and we're happy to share our place with others. Only one booking allowed at each site so you will have the site to your self, although you are able to book for friends. Pull in, light a fire, watch for falling stars, walk the dog and let the kids explore. Check the sunsets that never fail. Amenities depend on the site booked - check the options listed. Kids under 15 stay free! Dog friendly.

Best stay EVER!

Loved camping on David's property. Not too far from town and the hospitality was tremendous! Made sure that we had everything that was needed and also brought us some firewood to use. Will definitely be coming back when next in town! 10/10

Station camp

Best camp-site on our travels at Dunblane. Davis was so accomodating and changed outer booking repeatedly due to car issues. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Stayed at the shearing shed. Great info on camping and the property history. The baths the highlight. Thanks David for sharing your property.

Westbourne Shearing Shed

Great spot, not far out of Barcaldine. We camped near the wool shed, magnificent sunset. Artesian bath was sensational. David is a friendly host.

Billy Goat Central

Relaxing on the farm

I loved the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that was part Billy Goat camp. The hot artesian bath, the views that went on forever, the private seclusion with a great sunset. I would recommend this to all hipcampers. David's instructions on how to get there were easy to follow.

Tranquility in the Outback

We loved that we got to stay at the woodshed and had the freedom to walk through and see inside the working woodshed itself. David was so welcoming and even left the tractor out so our kids could play on it (which they absolutely loved). The sun setting over the paddock while soaking in warm bore baths was brilliant and so peaceful
