Cedar Creek is a picturesque waterway, which begins its life as water moving from the high altitudes of Mount Glorious in the D'Aguilar Ranges to the low lying areas of South Pine River. As the creek meanders towards the coastline of Moreton Bay, it is a treasure trove of rock pools, waterfalls, stunning picnic spots, plus home to a diversity of Australian native flora and fauna, including kookaburra's, platypus and wallabies. You can start your exploration from either the location called Cedar Creek (near Samford) or Draper (near Eatons Hill), both just thirty minutes from the Brisbane city centre. Cedar Creek is one of the go-to spots for North Brisbane families and one of the must-dos for Moreton residents.

Relaxing (even with Rain)

Property was beautiful! Even with rain, the trees protected us from the wind. The creek was amazing to listen to each night.

THE SECRET IS OUT!!!!!

Mark and his family have the most beautiful property. Our site was private and relaxing. All that could be heard were the birds singing and the mesmerizing flow of the pristine creek. There are a lot of enchanting adventures to enjoy nearby., with gorgeous swimming holes, at every turn. It is difficult to explain how wonderful this HIPCAMP site is, I guess you will have to go and see for yourself. I know for sure, we will return.

A hidden gem

Gorgeous spot! Fall asleep to the gentle rustle of crystal. clear water tumbling over rocks and boulders, you’re surrounded by tall eucalypts, ironbark and red cedar trees (hence the name). A short 15-20 minute rock hop to the waterfall. And all so close to Brisbane, we are definitely returning.

Peaceful and tranquil spot to relax

Beautiful spot for a get back to nature getaway. The sound of the creek flowing was ever so relaxing. The birds whistling in the early morning and evening are just wonderful. In the day go for a walk around the rocks and explore. At night you can just sit back and watch the stars. Highly recommend. Thank you Mark and family.

Absolutely stunning! Just wish it was a little more private, camp site backs onto the owners driveway. Otherwise a very special place.
