Fabulous... stay here, traveller!
I cannot express how lovely my stay here was.
I arrived around 11pm after making the drive from MI and was greeted by Oscar, who so kindly helped my solo-travelling self get my gear to the super cute tent. The spot is gorgeous- i loved having the river right by my front flap. Oscar got me firewood and graciously prepped a fire for me while i was out visiting McConnell State Park (which i strongly reccomend for those who enjoy hiking. It's closeby and beautiful). Honestly Oscar was one of the highlights of my trip- you can tell he takes hospitality seriously and genuinely wants his guests to feel comfortable. He happily offered help wherever i needed it and enjoyed my interactions with the goats and chickens as much as i did! Gracias, señor <3

Beautiful nature & friendly hosts!
This is such an awesome place!! I’ve come once before and felt so welcomed by Oscar and the family. Oscar built a fire for us and helped carry our bags to the tent, which is a beautiful walk, along the creek. The pool is amazing and the location is great— right in the middle of nature. The place has such neat history— be sure to ask about it!!! The tent is way bigger and nicer than photos and I highly recommend a stay here. You’ll love it!

Best place to stay!
Never have we had such a kind, down to earth, and generous host. I highly recommend camping here. The person who runs it qent out of his way and got us corn and bavon because we forgot it at home without us even asking. We went over fourth of July weekend and he offeres a firework show. The view and creek is beautiful. The property was beautiful. The tent was perfect it fit our family of 5 with three twin mattress and still have room. We were offered fresh cut wood, got to hangout with chickens and billy goats. He even got our kids involved and they got to feed them, pet them, and even gave us fresh eggs for the mornings. We are for sure going back.
