Wonderful property with great trails to explore. The shelter and fire were very comfortable and Jonathan was a wonderful host!

Hemlock Haven

Hemlock Haven was a wonderful campsite! The Adirondack shelter was great to sleep in, and it kept a strong rainstorm off us overnight. The fireplace was perfect for cooking with a steel grillplate and pot-hook inside. Overall, the property was beautiful, with great trails through the pines and a beautiful creek and wood bridge. The outhouse was in stellar shape — always appreciated. We’ll be back again one day, for certain!

Perfect spot

Hemlock Haven

The Adirondack shelter was a perfect spot to “glamp.” I slept like a baby as the dying fire from dinner warmed the interior. The meadow is a short walk from the site and you can see a full canopy of stars as there is very little light pollution. Jonathan was an awesome host, and gave us plenty of firewood for our stay. If there’s one small word of warning, the outhouse is primitive, but clean. Will definitely be coming back.
