Learn more about this land: Stay on our farm in a cozy yurt situated just above our pond. Enjoy access to a fire pit, an adorable outhouse and our shared farm venue kitchenette. Wake up to horses and fall asleep to the sounds of nature. The space We areLocated 40 mins west of Portland and almost exactly halfway to the coast. Only 7 mins from downtown Forest Grove, we are nestled in wine country and in a prime spot that is convenient for all kinds of adventuring. Epic hiking nearby in the Tillamook Forest or you can stick around and hike around the farm and through our timber on our very own trails. The yurt is located directly across from our large fire pit and overlooking the pond. There is a picnic table directly outside of the yurt for your personal use. A sweet and clean outhouse is located a few yards from the yurt next to our horse barn. We offer campers access to our venue kitchenette when there isn't an active event taking place in the venue. We do not book yurt stays when there is a Wedding here.. If there is an event happening during your stay we will let you know the times the venue will be occupied. This is a working farm with active projects, animals, mud and bugs. Please come prepared to embrace all! We have two very friendly dogs that roam about. We ask that anyone who stays out here can be considerate of the horses as they can be nervous if there is a lot of commotion. Because of this, we don't allow children under 10 yrs of age. Infants are welcome. Guest access When staying on the farm you will have access to the area surrounding the yurt as well as around the pond. We ask that campers stay in the back half of the property anywhere behind the green barn venue. A vehicle can pull close to the yurt for easy unloading and then park in our designated parking area. Other things to note The yurt comes equipped with a full size bed and a power cord. If you would like linens and or a heater, note these as add-ons. Although very comfy, this a true camping experience, if we don't specify we have something, you are encouraged to add it if it's an option or bring it.

Cozy Yurt Camping on Horse Farm

We had a wonderful stay at Highland Fields Yurt, it had everything we needed to rest, relax and reset. Surrounded by beautiful trees and horses, the yurt is a sweet sanctuary away from the hustle bustle.

The perfect city escape!

Cozy Yurt Camping on Horse Farm

Meagan’s farm surpassed expectations! The yurt was clean, nicely decorated, and private. We especially loved the fire pit and horses. The outhouse was extremely clean & cute (which I wouldn’t typically describe an outhouse!). I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to escape the city for a couple nights :) We’ll definitely be back!!
