Great location right up against the river. Only two river access points on each end of camp. Great fishing spot.

Great river location! Easy kayak launch and swimming hole. Lots of flat rock for chilling. As advertised, the tent sites are basic spots in a mowed field. Plenty of room to spread out and still have real estate between guests. The portapotty had been serviced. No complaints!

Enjoyed tent camping at Tyee, we had some last minute changes from Brent, but he made it right and took care of us. Nice way to just relax and do nothing. Will be going back next camping season.

The river view is breathtaking, along with the forested canyon and the many eagles and osprey. However, the camping area and property are pretty untidy (lots of equipment and detritus around). The porta potty was in desperate need of servicing.

Large group sites were perfect for multi family camping weekend. Shade trees help during heat of the day and river fishing/swimming were perfect for our kids. Recommend Kayak or float to access best water for fishing

Great spot along the Umpqua with river access for fishing or relaxing. My boys caught a couple of bass while we were there. Cornhole set up was nice. Definitely hot, but can cool off in the river. Highly recommend.

We truly enjoyed ourselves with friends. We recommend the RV area with 30 amp. Plenty of space for more than 1 camp trailer even tho we were happy to be the only ones there. Dogs loved being off leashes and going down to the water. Water was warm. There is a place to put your chairs out to enjoy the sun. We will be back soon.

We enjoyed camping with our friends. The dogs loved being able to roam about. We took advantage of the 30 amp hookup which we haven't used since we bought our camp trailer. The water was warm and able to paddle board. The place on the water was a great place to sunbathe. We have the place to ourselves except for tent campers whom never bothered us. We will be back! Thanks Brent...

We wanted to get our dog away from the fireworks, and this did accomplish that, however we could still hear all the traffic from the road. Tent campers should know that you are NOT camping next to the river with direct access from your tent site. You are camping in a field that has been mowed and your view of the river is obstructed by blackberries. The photos of the river are accurate, but you walk down a pathway to get there. I did NOT understand this from the photos or description.

Loved tent camping at Brent’s! Location was so beautiful and he was so friendly & quick to respond to any questions! The stars at night are insane and bird watching was very time consuming! Perfect tanning spots down by the river too, perfect for dipping or swimming or paddling! thank you brent! 100% recommend! (bring bug spray!/citronella candles)

Nice little spot for a bigger group. Brent is super communicative and helpful making the whole start easier. RV hookups are nice and there are a few spots.
There's not much shade on the field so you'll want to make sure you pack a pop up of some kind in the hotter months. The ramp down to the water is a bit over grown but that might be seasonal.

I made a reservation at this site for camping trip/ work trip. After making the reservation I woke up the next day to a message from Brent F. (Host) that I needed to cancel my reservation because the site was not actually available as advertised. I informed him that it was his responsibility to cancel as he had it listed when it was not actually available.
This led to Brent F. calling me names like "dumbass", "idiot from the city"(Im not from the city lol), and threatening me..... over something so trivial as a reservation.
Then, when I was only given a partial refund for my stay that never happened. I asked to be given a full refund ASAP...... this led to Brent F. cussing me out further and calling me a "dumb brokie"...... for wanting a refund🤡🤡🤡
Overall the guy running this property is a complete clown and horrible to deal with. Read the other negative reviews and see for yourself. I for one will never be giving this grown man who acts like a spoiled brat any of my money and I hope others read this and have the same sentiment.
Good luck out there y'all.... there are some crazy people out there running hipcamp sites apparently🙃

This part of the Umpqua River was beautiful and no one around. We were able to put our drift boat and kayak in the water using the primitive boat launch and the current was easy going for fishing. Nice quiet place. Yes, it's close to the main road but the occasional noise never bothered us. Thanks.

Tyee Fish Camp was great! We stayed over the holiday weekend. Brent was very attentive calling us before hand and also checking in throughout our stay. He is in the process of setting up more power and water so more RVs can be hooked up at once. He also has a tiny home onsite. We had two trailers set up. The property is alongside a beautiful stretch of the river. We enjoyed the views and watching the wildlife. We had eagles flying around us daily. This is our first hip camp experience. Camping in a farm field is nice and private. We will do it again. We even had tent campers staying on the property, they were so far away we didn't even know they were there. The only advice I would give is remember you are camping in a farmers field, its more like boondocking than a campground. The power and water are a plus but if you want to spread out those are limited to one area of the field. The place is dog friendly, our dog loved it. She ran around playing fetch the whole weekend. She loved the open space to run. The trail to the water is right there with easy access to the river. Brent even has some pontoons down there for use. Thank you.

Overall we had a good experience. The surroundings are beautiful. The campsites have quite a few holes, making for a somewhat unsteady surface. The host was quite responsive though. Didn't catch any fish that were big enough to keep.

For us, Tyee Tent Camp site was disorganized and unwelcoming. The host was not available to meet us as was described in the post. It was not clear where we were supposed to camp and there were no good spaces to set up a tent. The river access was either overcrowded or very difficult. We left soon after arriving and found somewhere else to spend the night.
