We live on 20 secluded acres surrounded by National Forest/BLM Land. We are 10 minutes from downtown Sisters where you can enjoy the western themed town. Don't forget to visit Sisters Bakery for great pastries, Boone Dog for wood fired pizza, or Three Creeks Brewing. Peterson Ridge TH for mountain biking and close proximity to many trails, creeks and lakes. Heading from our property 20 minutes the other direction is Bend. 30 minutes to Redmond Airport. At the Yknot Ranch (because, "Why Not?"), you can enjoy the quiet (unless there's a coyote serenade) and dark skies at night. The milky way along with many stars are quite visible on clear evenings. We live in a migratory route-plenty of deer wandering through. There's a fire pit for you to use within 75' of the spot. Feel free to sit in the shade by our small pond where the frogs inhabit in the springtime. A level 58' x 14' spot with full hook ups: includes water, sewer and 30 amp power. Unobstructed views from the property of The Three Sisters. Bring your gravel, e-bike or mountain bike and ride from the property onto Forest Service Roads. We have a gate so no one will be coming onto the property without our knowledge. Unhook your camper, drive down the gravel road and cross the bridge over the Tumalo Dam (Built in 1915 and never held water), drive further to the Tumalo Reservoir for a stroll. Another 10 minutes down the road brings you into Tumalo where The Bite serves drinks and four food trucks to choose from.If you like unobstructed views, clear skies for stargazing, being away from the hustle and bustle, this place is your dream come true. You are the only guest! Springtime, Summer and Fall are the best. The sunsets can be magical. Walk off the property into National Forest. Bring your mountain bike, e-bike or gravel bikes and ride right off the property onto Forest Roads. We are located 5 miles off of Highway 20 between Sisters and Tumalo. Note: the road turns from asphalt to gravel for 3/4 mile. The site is a 58ft x 14' gravel space with water, electricity and sewage hookups. There are no bathroom amenities here, Guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace. NOTE: You may purchase an “extra” for $10/ night for use of a full bathroom-shower/tub and toilet. Must be able to climb 22 stairs for access to this in the loft. The views here are epic, the camping spot is partly shaded by trees. My husband and I live on the property and you might see us drive past the spot. Additionally, my husband has a hobby shop and on occasion may have the side door open during warmer weather. No early mornings or late nights.

The Retreat @ The Yknot Ranch
To say that this spot is beautiful does not do it justice. With breathtaking views no matter where you look, every turn yielded something incredible to see. Views of the Three Sisters mountains from the camp site with an endless array of trees around you immediately brought a sense of calm and wonder. At times you can't even hear the roads in the distance. The stresses from work melted away in an instant. Deer, elk, rabbits, and small lizards were seen everywhere. Nighttime brought the soothing sounds of a few frogs coming from the adjacent pond. This is a spot to truly make you feel immersed in nature. Bend, Sisters, and other surrounding towns were a short drive, but distant enough to make things feel remote. A reservoir is close by, offering some great views of the water until the reservoir dries up in the summer. As beautiful as this spot is, it was made even more special thanks to the wonderful hosts John and Cynthia. They are exceptionally kind, welcoming, and accommodating. Our normally shy and reserved 8 year old daughter was immediately drawn to them, and kept asking if they could come on adventures with us. Our trip was made even more special thanks to these two. We treasured our time here, and the time we spent with John and Cynthia. It was sad to leave, but we were happy knowing that we left making two new friends. We cannot thank John and Cynthia enough for sharing their little slice of paradise with us.

The Retreat @ The Yknot Ranch
Stunning views and fantastic hosts.
To say the views are stunning is an understatement. The property is gorgeous with phenomental rock formations, stately junipers and an eclectic collection of cool rusted pieces, amazing architecture, rocket ships and a chorus of frogs that all lead to a fun day spent exploring and a restful nights sleep without any lights from a nearby neighbor to disturb you. The hosts Cynthia and John are as warm, friendly and genuine as it gets. My 8 year old daughter who is super shy and never wants to talk to strangers, gladly took Cynthia's hand to go explore the property while John took pitty on my lack of ability to direct my husband in backing up the trailer and we were parked in no time. The site could not be more spectacular. Within a few hundred yards is a large formation of boulders that you can jump to and the view of the three sisters honestly brought a tear to my eye. That was THE coffee spot in the morning. You literally sit on this huge boulder and there is nothing but junipers and the three sisters to gaze upon and contimplate. We then went hiking through the property and discovered all kinds of tresures, from deer bones to old funky junipers and so much natural beauty not to mention a herd of 10-12 deer and lots of critter tracks. We had electrical and water hook ups and with the house situated between the shop and our site it provided pricacy and was well furnished with a table and chairs as well as a fire pit. We cant wait till the next visit!
