Summer is here are we are ready to host our guests! The mornings are cool, calm and foggy but the fog burns off quickly. We are off the beach about 5 miles so we get warmer and don't have the winds that are on the coast. The winds do pick up in the afternoons but, die down for calm evenings. Our campsites are easily accessible by vehicle from the highway and we have room for tents, small trailers and camper vans too. The sites are grassy and relatively level, situated under large spruce trees. We are still in tidewater here so both sites sit above the river (about a 15' river bank at high tide). We have two campsites on our property but, to give our guests a more private experience we allow one group at a time. Our one designated site, closest to the river bank we call the Riverside Site. It can be reserved for up to 4 people. It can only accommodate smaller tents, campers, pop up trailers, small pod-type trailers and larger rigs up to 15'. The Riverside Site has a rustic firepit and deck for viewing the river. For groups of 5 or more or people or camping with large 10 person tents or trailers over 20', there will be an additional fee and you will need to set up camp in our Riverwood Site, about 150' from the riverbank. You will still have full access to the deck and firepit in the other site but, larger rigs cannot maneuver in the site without tearing up the grass and leaving ruts on our property. **Please note**When you make the reservation you will add an "Extra", ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE. When you make your reservation we require you to specify how many people are in your group. Children up to 15 yo are included in the 4 but, kids 16 yo and older will be additional campers in your group. We also need to know how you will be camping (tent, trailer, campervan, etc.). You are also required to let us know if you have a dog (or 2 or 3...). We have 2 dogs who love to meet and greet our guests and their pets so we need to know what to expect when you arrive. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests. There is also a small living and dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge. It is about 150' walk from both campsites. All areas are cleaned and sterilized after each guest. It is a shared space with other campers so if you use the space to eat breakfast, drink your coffee or get out of the rain we ask you put everything back where it was. We also require all guest to pack out their own garbage. We do not have garbage service at the property and to be respectful to the next guests, keep the property as you found it. We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee. PLEASE NOTE..... The Glass House currently is NOT available until after September 4th. The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (Please bring your own sleeping bags), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. You'll use the bathroom facilities in the apartment. All of our guests have full access to our personal dock to get down to the water. Feel free to fish off the dock, swim, Kayak, SUP or just enjoy the evening on the dock. We have a family of 6 Otters that you can see in the early morning, munching on crawdads. Enjoy a wide variety of wildlife; migrating and resident birds like Mergansers, Mallards, Canadian Geese. There are many species of song birds. You may hear a Bear of two making their way down to cross the river. There are deer across the river from our property and there is a huge herd of Elk at about the 3.5-4 mile marker. Our property is about a 10 minute drive to the Ocean/Hwy 101, just south of Lincoln City. There is hiking close by and miles of coastline to explore. We are happy to help you have the best experience at the coast...Just ask! A little about the process once you make a reservation: Once you reserve a camp site you'll receive a welcome message acknowledging we received your reservation. Then, a few days before your stay, we will send the physical address, directions to the property and on-site instructions for check in. Once you arrive at the property, there is a HIPCAMP sign with an arrow to direct you to the camp sites. You will follow the instructions we give you depending on the size of your group or the size of your rig. There are also "END HIPCAMP" signs on our property lines to preserve our neighbors privacy. Check-in is 2pm or later, check out is 12noon or before. To be respectful of other campers that are excited to get outdoors (and to allow us to clean the bathroom and make sure the property is ready for the next campers) we need to adhere to these times. FIRE RESTRICTIONS - There are no fire restrictions currently but, we want you to extinguish fires when you leave the property. We have bottles of water at each site to do so. Also, we provide fire extinguishers if there is an emergency grass fire. We don't always have firewood available onsite so you might want to bring a bundle anyway. A little about the property and us: We found this property, that includes the bare land we use for our Hipcampers and our house, just by chance about 10 years ago. We had only dreamed of having a place on a river but, when we found this place, it was over run with tall grass and blackberries. It was a lot of hard work to get it to what it is today but, so worth it. We both love the outdoors and have always loved camping with our kids. Rick is an avid fisherman/hunter while Debbie enjoys kayaking, gardening, reading and watching the river go by. Thanks for checking us out! Debbie and Rick and our two Cattledogs, Luna and PiperSpring is finally here and we are happy to be drying out some. This is the Oregon Coast so the weather is still unpredictable and can rain into early July. Our campsites are easily accessible by vehicle and we have room for tents, small trailers, small self contained RV’s and camper vans. The sites are grassy and relatively level, situated under large spruce trees. We are still in tide water here so both sites sit above the river (about a 15’ river bank at high tide). The Riverside site has a firepit and deck for viewing the river. The Riverwood site is away from the river bank about 100' and sits under beautiful, large Spruce trees. It has it's own firepit. Both have tables for your use. It is a short walk from both sites to our ramp and dock to be on the river. There are signs to help you find your way. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests, Yay! We have an apartment in the downstairs of our house, about 150' walk from both campsites. It has a kitchenette with barista bar, microwave, small fridge, small living area, and private toilet (Loo). All areas are cleaned and sanitized after each guest. It is a shared space with other campers so if you use the space to eat breakfast drink your coffee or get out of the rain we ask you put everything back where it was. We also offer our little sleeping Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee. Currently the bunkie is available only September 4th into fall. The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (please bring your own sleeping bags.), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. You’ll use the bathroom facilities in the apartment. Bring your Kayak or SUP to explore the slow moving river (or rent ours!). Enjoy a wide variety of wildlife: Migrating and resident birds, Beavers in the early morning and evenings. Our resident River Otters ( a family of 6) have been very active the past couple of years. You’ll see them in the morning and evening playing and munching on Crawdads. There are deer although we seldom see them on our side of the river. There is a huge herd of elk down river from us. Our property is about a 10 minute drive to the ocean/Hwy 101, just south of Lincoln City. There is hiking close by and miles of coastline to explore. We are happy to help you have the best experience on the coast…just ask! A little about the process and the property: Once you reserve a camp site you’ll receive a welcome message with the physical address and instructions on how to navigate the property once you are here. There is a Hipcamp sign with an arrow to direct you to the 2 campsites. There are also End Hipcamp signs on our property lines to preserve our neighbors privacy. Check-in is 2pm or later check-out is 12noon or before. To be respectful of other campers that are excited to get outdoors (and to allow us to clean the bathroom and make sure the property is ready for the next campers) we need to adhere to these times. FIRE RESTRICTIONS - There are no fire restrictions currently but we do ask you extinguish fires when you leave the property. We have bottles of water by each fire pit to do so. There are also fire extinguishers in case of emergency. A little about the property and us: We purchased this property 10 years ago. It includes 7 lots, two and a half that our house sits on, a couple of easements lots and these three lots that is bare land sitting under a beautiful stand of Spruce trees. The property and house had sat empty for about 3 years prior to us finding it and it was a mess, all overgrown with weeds and blackberry. We spent the first 3 years just bringing it back to a livable space. Back in the late 30's and 40's this stretch of the Siletz River was called Mack's Landing. The original house where there was a gas station and mercantile is still here and there were small fishing cabins along about 500' of river front. We still run into the concrete foundations from time to time. We had only dreamed of having a place on a river...somewhere... when we came across this property. We love the outdoors and have always loved camping with our kids. Rick is an avid fisherman/Hunter gatherer while Debbie enjoys kayaking, gardening, reading and watching the river go by. Thanks for checking us out! Debbie, Rick, and our two Heelers, Luna and Piper

We really like the access to the bathroom the little kitchen living room and living room and it was really good to have clear boundaries marked. The dock was also really nice, & in general the space was beautiful.

Debbie's place is absolutely phenomenal ~ right on the river, away from the noise of the highway ~ and relatively secluded. Both the campsites are spacious, with lots of shade; The Glass House is beautiful and quaint. Getting out on the river is well worthwhile; we had a lot of fun and will be back.

Riverside Camping
I loved camping at this location. It’s right next to the river and so quiet in the evenings. The hosts are wonderful and the only negative I can say is the neighboring property has a very rude owner and she talks down to people, so watch out for that. Despite this, I’ll still 100% rent again which I plan to do.
