**Please note: this property is for SELF-CONTAINED campers only - no toilet or hookups available (hose water and trash disposal on site). NO Class A RVs, Fifth Wheels, or Toy Haulers.** Beautiful Prosper Bluff is close to the charming town of Bandon, world class beaches, Bullards Beach State Park, Whiskey Run mountain bike trails, Bandon Dunes golf resort, and more. We are conveniently located right off Hwy 101, just a few minutes from town. Prosper Bluff is close to all the amenities and recreation, yet private and peaceful with a large open field surrounded by river, estuary, forest, and cranberry bogs. All guests can book an hour in our beautiful sauna with a view for an additional $25. We offer two types of campsites at Prosper Bluff: Our Prosper Bluff with river access site can accommodate individuals or small groups of up to 3 small or medium-sized camp vehicles*. This open field camp with expansive views of the majestic Coquille River and Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge is perfect for those who prioritize a spectacular view and privacy away from other campers while being close to town and recreation opportunities. Guests will have river and dock access via a trail that starts at the campsite, and can enjoy fishing, crabbing, or simply taking in the breathtaking scenery. Watch spectacular sunrises and sunsets from your private bluff camp. *This site is not good for tents as the wind can be very strong and there are no trees on the bluff. Our two Lost Valley Van Camp sites can each accommodate one self-contained campervan or truck camper and offer a quiet place to pull up amongst the trees on the outskirts of the field. Each site comes with a convertible bench/table for two and a flat grassy area to camp with plenty of room to turn your vehicle around. The two sites are separated by dense trees to ensure privacy from neighboring campers. While these sites don't come with the epic view or river access of our bluff site, they are peaceful and conveniently located. Please message us with any questions. Our Prosper Bluff with river access site can accommodate self-contained campers (no toilet or hookups available) in groups of up to 3 small or medium-sized camp vehicles*. Our open field camp with expansive views of the majestic Coquille River and Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge is perfect for those who prioritize a spectacular view and privacy away from other campers while being close to town and many recreation opportunities. Guests have river and dock access via a trail** that starts at the campsite and can enjoy fishing, crabbing, or just taking in the beautiful scenery from the river's edge. Check out our boat, the "Fun Sway", built 30 miles upriver and our pond with goldfish. Enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets from your private bluff camp with the convenience of being close to it all. *This site is not good for tents as the wind can be very strong and there are no trees on the bluff. Class A RVs, Toy Haulers, and Fifth Wheels are too large for the road getting to our property. **The trail is steep in some spots and could be difficult for people with mobility issues.

Our two peaceful Van Camp sites are adjacent to forest and cranberry bogs and each suitable for ONE self-contained campervan or truck camper (25 foot max length). These sites are too small to accommodate a vehicle pulling a trailer (unless under 25 feet total length) or longer RVs. No toilet or hookups available. Car/Tent campers are welcome if traveling with camp toilet or planning on using nearby public restrooms. While these sites don't offer the river views of our Bluff site, they're perfect for campers looking for a quiet and safe place to spend the night while exploring the Bandon area. Each site offers a flat grassy spot along the trees to park your vehicle and a convertible bench/table for two. Trees provide variable shade throughout the day. You will find plenty of room to turn around for easy in and out. Guests have access to a potable water hose and trash bin a short walk or drive from your site. Site 2 is the second site you'll come to as you arrive at Prosper Bluff. It offers a bit more privacy than Site 1 and has a nice protected area for a smaller tent. Trees provide plenty of seclusion from Site 1.

Prosper Bluffs is a quiet level site very close to 101 and close enough to the ocean that we could hear the crashing waves as we laid in bed and drifted off to sleep. The site is perfect for Vans, Truck Campers and Motorhomes, but it’s rough camping - meaning no amenities are offered as of this post 8/23/26, which was perfect for us. Super easy to get to Bandon OR from here.

Very quiet, level area, wonderful view of the Coquille River and Bandon Marsh NWR. Egrets, great blue herons, cormorants, gulls, kingfisher, great horned owl, turkey vulture roost nearby, Canada geese, sharp shinned hawk. A simple 5minute drive to Bandon and an easy bike ride there as well. Brian was there to greet us upon our arrival.

This has been one of our favorite stays. We had site one. We're pretty quiet & private people and it was fine for us. Although there was only one other single camper there at the time. The site with the view was unoccupied. Brian came to say hi, shared some spots we might want to check out and to good naturedly tease us about our limited computer skills lol We liked it there so much we added another night! , Dark at night, peaceful, with nice area for our on leash dog around our site, shade tree. It was perfect for us.

Peaceful, safe, quiet, spacious site on a large, lovely private property. Really enjoyed meeting Brian and appreciated how welcoming and helpful he was. The van site was very easy to navigate into, plenty of space to turn around and settle into the right spot with our minivan and trailer. They’ve set things up nicely to offer some privacy at each spot. View overlooking the river is gorgeous, but we didn’t feel like we were missing out at all by not being set up at that site. Would definitely stay again if in that area.

We liked it so much we stayed another night. We're pretty private people and site 1 was fine for us. Bugs were not an issue at all and our dog was very relaxed as well. Brian came by to meet and tease us good naturedly plus offered some local spots we should check out. We wish we had found it a few weeks ago when we ended up staying at a noisy and crowded local state park for 4 days. Brian and Nicole's Hip camp has been one of our favorites. Thanks for having us!

Many birds flying late in the afternoon up and down the Coquille River- a pair of osprey swooping and careening, looking for fish. Purple martins chirping and taking insects on the wing. Very quiet at night, once the wind settled…..Never even saw the hosts, but little did it matter.

Great spot to stay for cheap for a night. Brian told us about mountain bike trails near by that might have been the best trails I’ve ever ridden. Would definitely crash here again coming through the area.

we arrive to the area in the late afternoon and it was so great that Nicole got right back to us to reserve a site. We loved the open meadow and incredible views and quiet. Nicole and Brian son greeted us and was super friendly and helpful.. super easy to get to from 101 and yet far enough for quiet.

This place is amazing. A hidden jewel in Bandon. Views are amazing. There is a path down to the dock located on the river. Blackberries were in season & they were delicious. If you are a golfer BANDON SANDS is just down the road, a world class golf course. If you like riding horses on a fantastic beach ride BANDON STABLES is just down the road. Wonderful place & lovely hoat. Highly recommend

We loved our spot at Prosper Bluff mainly because we had so much space between us and any other campers. We also loved the fact that it was just a couple miles to ride our bikes into downtown Bandon. Our host was exceptionally kind to us as well.

This campsite is truly a hidden gem. The views of the river from the site are breathtaking, and the dock offers a peaceful, stunning backdrop. Our host was exceptionally accommodating, going out of their way to make our stay memorable despite our last-minute booking. What an absolutely beautiful place. So peaceful and so relaxing. The drive-in was perfect. The directions provided very easy to follow. Parking on site #1, looking out over the river was easy and leveling out was not a problem. We had the river to one side and open field to the other side. Quiet and peaceful but the mosquitoes were enjoying it as much as we were. (They were pretty intense at times.) It was a great place to have our dog and we appreciated everything about the site. Very easy to get into town and do anything else that you want to do. We never saw Nicole & Brian, not even sure if they were there. We were told to call if we had any questions and we didn’t. When in the area again, we would be honored to stay again.

The view is worth it all!! Absolutely stunning, wide open view. Quiet and peaceful place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. Highly recommend. Hosts were great.
