Fantastic place to stay in the middle of Happy Valley, that is a beautiful and quiet country setting super close to everything you could ever need. Sherry was great and very responsive.

First off the property is beautiful. Where we camped was a protected area with large evergreens that kept the elements out as much as possible. A short walk took us to a meadow with wildflowers and a view of Mt. Hood. Water was easily accessible with a short walk. It felt very private and safe. We didn't explore any of the hiking trails so I can't comment on those. The hosts were gracious.

Words cannot describe the beauty and serenity you get to experience at Pendarvis Farm. Even though there was another group of campers on the property we never crossed paths or even heard them. Sherry was absolutely wonderful and so were the animals. We mistakenly had more cars than was stated on our booking but Sherry worked with us to find a solution that worked for everyone. I’m already looking forward to visiting again in the fall!

Wonderful and easy experience!! This was our first time camping with our baby, so we wanted to stay close to Portland as a “test run”. This was perfect!
Such beautiful meadows and trails to explore on the property- and so close to town, we actually went into town for coffee in the morning!
Sherry was so helpful and sweet - checking with us to make sure we had everything we needed and knew where to go.
Would absolutely recommend.

Very easy to access the property and park on site. Pulled our gear with our wagon up a gentle grassy hill to set up our tent near the trees. The host communicated quickly after I made my initial inquiry, which was much appreciated.
Enjoyed the occasional visits by the dog, and getting to watch the horses munch in the pasture while we lay on a blanket. Loves trails to walk in the forest.
Really great to have all the space to ourselves. Will come back again for sure, due to the ease of getting here and the beauty of the property.

We had an absolutely fantastic time! Sherry and her delightful menagerie brought so much warmth and joy to a chilly winter weekend. The spot was beautiful and inviting, even in the colder season, and we can’t wait to return in the warmer months to enjoy it all over again!

This place is incredible! Close enough to the city that you can get what you need, but you have enough space here to make it feel like the countryside. There are some really fun trails to walk around on and the horses are sweethearts! Sherry was a fantastic host and I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone!

Such a special place - with a really kind and communicative host. The dog Puccini and horses are a delight, as is roaming around the property and listening to all the bird and nature sounds. So close to the city and yet a nice getaway for our group.

We loved camping in the beautiful forest and saying hi to the horses in the field. Nearby city amenities. Spacious, comfortable campsite with nice picnic table. Sun and shade available. Definitely recommend.

Great communication, beautiful peaceful area. It is under the flight landing path of planes if that bothers you, but very tranquil farm in a bustling neighborhood close to everything.

Such a restful retreat so close to home. Buttercup filled meadows for sunbathing with acres of trails to explore. We loved watching the horses romp from a distance. They’d occasionally pass by to greet us and it was such a treat. Well loved farm ❤️ Such wonderful hosts. Thanks Sherry!! Look forward to our next visit!

This was the perfect spot for us to stop along our road trip and be able to check out Portland as well. Sherry and her husband were amazing hosts so friendly and accommodating and although it was a short stay we felt at home. The property is amazing with trails to explore back in the woods. We loved seeing the horses and their super cute dog Poochini kept us company when we walked around the property. Definitely recommend!

My son and I were amazed to find Pendarvis Farm so close to the city of Portland. It's an oasis of nature with acres of pasture, forest and marked trails for sauntering. There are friendly horses and a sweet dog named Puccini that came to say hello every morning. There are beautiful sunrises with a view of Mt. Hood on clear days. When you hike through the forest where you may come upon a forest integrated elephant sculpture or stick built stage from the Pickathon music festival. Really nice outdoor shower and tasty water. Wonderful land to spend time on and Sherry is a great host. Definitely recommend to anyone that wants to camp conveniently close to Portland.

What a beautiful spot and so convenient to Portland. I stayed here with my family of four, including two kids, and we loved waking up on the farm, walking the many hiking trails, then popping downtown into Portland to be tourists for the day. So serene and convenient. Would highly recommend!

Great experience. Lots of trails, sweet camping sites with picnic tables in the shade, and great set up with lots of space. When we were there we had the place to ourselves which was a real treat. On a clear day you can see Mt. Hood!

Such a beautiful place and so close to home! This stunning 80 acre farm delights at every turn - from the resident dog to the resident horses, the metal and wood sculptures happened upon while walking - it’s a constant discovery.
The spaces are well spaced and covered in bark chips with a picnic table at each.
The host is very thoughtful and communicates very well.
I’m looking forward to returning with my daughter!

Pendarvis Farm was nothing short of a magical place. The wide-open pastures, free range horses, apple orchards and over 80 acres of lush forest trails to explore make this campground an "all in one" experience. The beautiful art installations throughout the property are so fun to explore and make the forest feel enchanted. Sherry and her husband were such great hosts and good company to chat with. We loved enjoying the apples and berries throughout the farm, as well as meeting the horses! We loved that our dogs had plenty of room to run freely and also enjoy themselves. Pendarvia is truly a gem!
