What an amazing place to camp!! James was a great host from beginning to end. He was very quick to respond to our questions when we booked, and was very good about making sure we were comfortable in our site after we arrived. The campsites are very well maintained and a lot of care has been taken to make this area feel relaxing and safe. I can’t say enough about the whole experience! Highly recommend Molalla Ripple to anyone looking to camp here!!

I was in the site 4. Site 4 has a great decorations of the light bulbs that makes night shine and beautiful. The site is right next to the flowing river so it gives sense of comfort and relax.

Convenient & pleasant location

We camped at site #1 which is the closest to the main road, but the traffic noise was acceptable (died down after sunset) and I mention this as I'm rather sensitive to noise. I liked that there was plenty of distance between our site and site #2. I liked being steps from the river even though we got there a bit too late in the day to go for a dip. Having a gate code was convenient as we left around 5 AM the next morning.

Repeat visitor for a reason!

The site I was staying in (site 1) was nicely removed from other sites, so I had plenty of privacy and didn’t hear any of the other campers the whole time I was there. It was also a very short walk to the (well maintained) porta-potties and on-site potable water (there’s also a wagon available should the water jugs be too heavy). There’s also an open kitchen-esque area with hot water if doing dishes at camp is unappealing, plus outlets to charge devices if needed. Other amenities are available as well, but those were the ones I utilized. Whenever I sent a message to the host, he was very responsive and helpful. Whether asking about any logistical stuff, requests, or getting more firewood, either he or one of his crew responded quickly and got me all taken care of. I had a great time hanging out at camp, walking through the woods, spending time at the riverside, and enjoying a fire under the stars. This wasn’t my first visit, nor will it be my last.

Very nice place! Super peaceful and they came and checked on us multiple times. We ordered beef, ice and bundles of wood and they brought them down for us.

Owners were great to us despite a rude couple making complaints about “music being too loud” before 10 o clock. Love the property and their beef is amazing!

Campsite 8 is at the end of the camping area so it’s private, and gets quite a bit of shade which was good because it was pretty hot while we were there. Family friendly. There’s a community beach area just a short walk away but not river access from the campsite. Very clean bathrooms!

Had a couple's camping trip with our friends. Shared site 4. And the campsite hot tub addition. Lots of details showing the hard work and dedication put into running this farm. We appreciated the convenience of amenities provided. (Wood, ice, drinking water) And will definitely be returning for another's day this summer!

I arrived and entered site-specific code to get in and followed provided directions (clear and signs posted also). There were other sites nearby, but this one was secluded which my dog and I liked. We just needed a stop over to sleep/shower, but the river was pretty and we had a nice little leashed evening walk. Everything was clean, but I did make a quick round to pick up small bits of left behind (or maybe blown in) trash. The host was responsive when I had questions. The shower was clean, nice and warm, and had a handheld sprayer which was nice for rinsing my hair as a tall person. The vestibule where you step out of the shower to dress/undress is covered by a shower curtain and it was windy (no way to secure curtain to sides), so there wasn’t privacy and I’m too tall to change in the shower stall without getting my clothes wet. As I was dressing, a man from another campsite came by to use the portapotty (the shower is surrounded by two) and I realized there isn’t privacy between the portapotty and the vestibule area (there are ventilation slats in the portapotty and he looked over and could see me naked). My suggestion would be to outfit that area with a door/sides for privacy. Be aware that on the listing in notes under the “shower” and “wifi” sections in amenities it isn’t mentioned (only in extras after you commit to book), but there is a cost for each. Overall pretty and restful spot—would come again esp with more time to hang with my dog.

Another beautiful stay! Cows were beautiful, campsite is always clean, everything we needed was right there in our reach. My kids and I had a great time! Thankful for the wifi! Kids are homeschooled so they were able to sign into class. This was our 4th or 5th time here and it is our favorite spot. Jim and company were very considerate and accommodating when it came to our needs. Thank you and we will be back soon!

We loved camping here. We had a large end site (Spot 1) that was very private with a short walk to the river. The campground had working Wifi and tons of amenities. Loved it so much, we booked another trip for later in the summer. Thanks James!

Slice of peace by the river!

This place was wonderful! The camp host, James, gave detailed instructions and everything was as expected. We had a lovely view of the river with our own private path, and the site itself was perfectly set up for a tucked away tent spot, and there was a picnic table and fire pit. The Port-a-Potties were super clean and nearby. We were greeted and warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable at the campsite. I loved the cows being around the fact that it is a working farm. We liked it so much that we are considering it for our upcoming wedding venue. Highly recommend!

Fantastic spot, worth the trip!

Molalla Ripple is a great place to camp. The group of us are seasoned tent campers and this place had it all; the cleanest porta-johns, a shower, gorgeous scenery, easy access to the river, clean and level campsites, community deck with actual sink. Please note that there are rules and fees for breaking them, but once you get there you absolutely see why. Jim and his family take absolute pride in offering an awesome, safe, comfortable place for campers. This is a working farm and the owners obviously take care of their 25 acres with passion and love. I hope when you go visit you will enjoy it as much as we did.

Wow!! This place is absolutely amazing! So peaceful! Very clean!! Our site #7 was right on the river! The owner Jim is great!! Very responsive!! You gotta also check out the pigs!! So cute!! Will definitely be back!! Hot tub was a fun experience too!!

Lovely space right by the river and near some very cute cows! Parked right at site 1 which is relatively secluded from the rest and just a short walk to the river. At the river you get a west facing view which meant longer sunlight and a beautiful sunset. Fire pit was great and even has built in rack for cooking that you can move. Would love to return for a simple getaway from the city.

This was my second time at Molalla Ripple 4. James’ land is beautiful. Him and anyone else taking care of the property really do an amazing job to think of everything. They had containers to bring drinkable water to the site, a wheelbarrow so you could carry the heavy container, some adult life jackets, and beautiful string lights to make the night magical. We will continue to come back and make family memories.
