we had so much fun and were very comfortable tent camping here!!! jamie was super accommodating and welcoming, nice to camp for a good cause too!

Gorgeous, private site!
The camping was great, but the host was absolutely amazing!! The site was a bit dusty, but that’s definitely to be expected in central Oregon and it was nothing terrible. The sites were spacious and had a large amount of shade (we were there during a 100+ degree heat wave). The potties and water access were super close to the sites and so convenient. And I can’t say enough good things about Jamie. She was incredibly patient with us while we made our reservations. We were incredibly obnoxious with all of the changes and requests we made and she was wonderful through all of it. She was quick with responses before the trip and phone calls while we were at the site. I have too many great things to say about Jamie and the trip. Nothing but great memories. Thank you for the great weekend!!

Ok for a one nighter
Unfortunately the campsite was closer to a residential neighborhood. We felt like there was a lack of privacy. It felt like we were camping in someone’s backyard. There were some dogs that kept barking until 2am and kept us up awake (yikes). Some positive feedback, the portal potty was very clean and the location camp site was very close to popular hiking areas and close access to the stores.

Great Host and Dog Friendly!
We had a great time staying at Kanski Kamp. Jamie was a wonderful host. We were so happy to find a place that was dog-friendly. The sites are big enough to feel like you have some privacy even when other campers are there. She had tables and chairs set out, there was plenty of shade, and even access to electricity, but we didn't need it.
There is so much to do in this area...we spent most of our time in Bend and in the mountains. I appreciated that there weren't mosquitoes here like there are in the mountain campgrounds and the warmer temperatures were appreciated - it didn't get too cold at night. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a friendly place and they are very accommodating to special situations. No power, so be prepared for that. Farm noises are fun. Barking dogs, chickens and roosters, cows.
