The The HowellingRoachclan Homestead is a small family hobby farm where we try to provide abundant fun and imaginative opportunity for our children to thrive as well as enjoying nature and our many animals. We’re in a beautiful spot in between carpet and Sandy close to the gorge, and the mountain, we butt up against the bull run watershed. Very quiet and dark come enjoy it with us . Learn more about this land: Nestled in the Cascade foothills bordering the Bullrun watershed and Bullrun river we have a small family farm/animal eclectic. The back 8 acres are open meadows and trails with a small stream, lots of trees, and flowers. We have deer, elk, coyote, black bear, cougar, eagles and countless bird species. We also farm chicken, quail, ducks, geese, goats, pigs a horse, dogs and our wonderful children. Close to Bullrun river, Sandy river, historic Bullrun powerhouse, dodge park, camp Namanu and the devils backbone section of the old Barlow rd. Come spend some time, we’d love to have ya!

      Great place and great people. If you like to camp but prefer a bit less enthusiastic campers then let Jerry take care of you. Definitely need a 4x4 to get into the back acres but could hoof it if you’re feeling it. Beautiful property - nice grassy areas to pitch a tent. One fire pit if you get there first! Gated at night with some Great Pyrenees patrolling to keep you safe at night. Loved it.

      Jerry's land is beautiful and peaceful, with several camping spots to choose from and enough land to walk around and explore a bit. You feel completely secluded out there, surrounded by trees and blackberry bushes. Just make sure to bring a 4-wheeler to get to your spot (or you can walk your stuff in as well). Plus, it's just minutes from Dodge Park where we went swimming and fishing in the beautiful water.
