This property is owned by the Dauenhauer family and was initially operated as a multi-functional farm raising a thousand acres in various crops. In the early 1980's the family began planting grapes on the property and now the vineyard is the predominate feature for the farm. Most of the vineyard production is sold to wineries located across the state, however the family does retain a small amount of grapes each year for their private wine label "Hauer of the Dauen". You are welcome to stop by the farm for wine tasting on Saturday and Sunday's 12:00-5:00pm. The park and campground area is a recent addition to the farm and had been a vision for quite some time.

This is a three acre park located adjacent to the Hauer of the Dauen Vineyard, in the heart of the Willamette Valley. Farms, nurseries and vineyards are abundant in this region which make for spectacular views during long bike rides or a relaxing afternoon of wine tasting. The 80 acres of grapes, adjacent to the park, is a working vineyard and it can be a rather moving experience to watch the sunrise over the rows of 35 year-old vines in the morning, as you hear the native birds and other wildlife begin to chirp and rustle about. Children 12 years and under are free and not subject to an additional charge per campsite. We will rent out the entire park for family reunions, weddings, or other special events. Please submit a booking request for the day of your event and we can adjust pricing to allow for rental of the entire park.

This is for anyone booking the entire park. This is a three acre park located adjacent to the Hauer of the Dauen Vineyard, in the heart of the Willamette Valley. This is such a wonderful place. We had a huge gathering of friends and family and there was more than enough room for everyone. So nice and peaceful. Such a gracious host. And the winery is such a lovely little place (and some great wine).

Our group loved the camping spot. It’s green, spacious and quiet. Carol was an excellent host and very accommodating. Highly recommend wine tasting at the winery as well. We hope to come back!

Wonderful experience. Check in was super easy and Kari was so sweet! Lots of space to roam around and shaded in by the tree line. Would highly recommend!

Highly recommend staying at this location. The family that own this property are amazing and very helpful! Lots of room and fresh air to breath. Not a lot of traffic so it is very quiet and a great place to put your feet up and relax or go for a walk. Good views and some wildlife viewing including deer rabbits and birds. Can't recommend Kari's place enough!!!!

This Hipcamp spot was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how beautiful and tranquil it was. It's the kind of place where you can truly unwind and feel completely at peace. What made the experience even better was our kind and welcoming host, making us feel right at home. We can't wait to go back!

The site was serene and beautiful. Carol met us at the camp and directed us to our options for campsites. We were the sole campers in the property that night, so our experience may be unique. In the evening we walked the perimeter of a beautiful vineyard. The campsite we chose was level and with nicely cut grass. The portable toilet was clean and recently serviced. $60 for a campsite is expensive, but we would consider returning.

This was a beautiful wide open space with a view of their beautiful grape vines. From out spot the sky was huge and the sounds of birds around us was plentiful! Our dog loved being able to chase sticks in the huge field.

Great open area and great communication from hosts. We had a group of 10 and they were very accommodating to us. The grass is very green and fluffy. There were other campers across the way but far enough that you could not hear them. Nice porta potty very clean space.

Just what we needed for a quick overnight stay. Carol was super friendly and helped us settle in. We were the only ones there! Also, loved that we were offered a wine tasting the next day, but unfortunately we had to head out before then.

We had an excellent stay here! Friendly and flexible host accepted our same-day request and was so welcoming and helpful showing us to the sight and pouring us a tasting flight! We got the field all to ourselves. Great spot we hope to return to!

We had a great experience! I was welcomed with a wine tasting, where Carol thoughtfully set up a table outside so I could have my dog with me, during the tasting. She was generous and knowledgeable about their craft as wine makers. It was fun! We were the only campers at their Camp ground. It’s a wide open, grassy field. It was great fun for my dog and grandson to play. We took long walks on the roads that wind through the vineyard. It was a unique and beautiful experience.

Our kids and dog loved the big grass field (real grass, no foxtails in sight!) to run and play all day. Very quiet and relaxing, with a nice walking route around the fields. We felt very welcome and had a great time getting to know Carol, our property host. Lots of interesting history about the farm, with the Hauer of the Dauen winery walking dostance just around the corner!

We had the entire site to ourselves, which was kind of fun! The site is a large grassy field with a stand of tall trees forming the back perimeter. There is zero separation between the sites, no picnic tables, or other structures. Across the open field you can see the vineyards, with nice pastoral hills in the distance. I had hoped camping at a winery site would mean I could stroll to the tasting room from my campsite to do a little wine tasting…that’s not what this site is about, and there are no other tasting rooms within easy walking distance from the campground. So yes, you are camping at a winery, but without the upside of enjoying the fruits of your campground terrior.

Lovely overnight stay with helpful host and the offer of a complimentary wine tasting! Freshly cleaned facilities were also much appreciated. I recommend a stay at this family-owned and operated vineyard.

We loved our experience at the Dauenhauer Campground! The property was clean, very well maintained, and the hosts were only a few miles away if we were to need anything. We took a walk around the vineyards in the evening and again morning, it was really a picturesque location, we will be returning!

Camping on DH was great! We were the only ones there, the portapotties had just been cleaned, and she greenest us as the entrance with tons of recommendations. If all you need is land and not interested in bells and whistles of a camp ground, this is a great spot!

Very nice, well maintained site. You camp on a very large open lawn by the vineyard. Some of the sites are sorta close to the road—but there's barely any traffic at all. We were the only ones there during that weekend and got to choose a site farther away from the road. Kari let us walk in the vineyard in designated trails (not in the rows) which was nice. The toilet (porta potti) was very clean. I would go again.

Pretty spot with beautiful views. Lots of common area for room to play. Close to several wineries. We biked about the wineries and grand island, which is beautiful and not much traffic.

This was such a lovely spot. Easy to find, but it felt private and secluded. Well maintained and nestled in the middle of Oregon wine country. The communication from the host was super helpful as well. Would definitely visit again.
